i dunno what was wrong with my bug but i suddenly was able to play and right now im screwing around with emotes till the zone starts to clear out

gotta say, when I clicked to start the install, it said I needed 10 gig of space. now THAT is a big download... but now that it's downloading, it's actually 17!!!!!! gig of download. Damn, that's almost twice as much.

While I wait on my invite, Figured I check out how many AP holder invites have gone out (550,000) total. Last I heard there was 1.2 mil AP holders so half way there I guess.

I've tried to be patient with this, but everyone who plays wow in my house has beta access and I don't as of yet. I know I will get it eventually, it's still frustrating non the less. I wanted to test out the new talents and what not. It's even more frustration when everyone around you is getting it but you haven't yet. The rate the invites are going out, it should be another 2-3 weeks before all the pass holders have access. Good things come to those who wait ?

I got mine today. I squeed so much my cats made angry faces at me when I saw the mail in my mailaccount. Now it's downloading about 19 gig because I download German version as well - 16 remaining now. I need to do something different than stare at the screen.

I am quite happy for the peepz that are getting in.
however with the slow spawn rates and some bugs that are present atm its going to make quest testing hell unless they open up some more zones. everything is going to be concentrated in those 2 zones >_>

It was mentioned in another thread that if you had a full stable you lost 5 pets or something like that.

I figure I am going to be one of the last. I didn't start playing WoW till December 2010, had a 1 month break in 2011 and then a 3 month break that was Nov 2011 - Feb 2012; and I didn't get my annual pass till Feb. I know it will come, but it does suck knowing I will be one of the last.

I need to unsub from this thread, and twitter. The more I hear about friends of mine getting Beta, and I still haven't the more annoyed I become. Everyone in my house who plays wow has Beta BUT me..like wtf ??

haha, I know the feeling I am really hating this beta wave thing it seems everyone but me is getting in.

To make things worse, people are reporting that the Annual Pass holder count is going up!! So this makes the chances of getting in Beta even harder...*sigh* Blizzard really screwed up on this one...

and besides, if you wait a bit you get to skip over all the brain-dead, nose-picking, mouth-breathing, morons who have been sitting in the Panda starting area, spamming that STUPID macro (that does NOT work) to set the scroll on fire.. and have been doing so for hours without success.
I got to level 10 and there were still the same players as when I was level 1, still there, finger firmly planted in nose, scratching at their brains, spamming that macro.

I can't play till tomorrow, my download errord at like 65% and I can't restart it because it lags our connection. ;-; BF wants to play games and the lag becomes nearly unbearable.

I do agree this is one sloppy mess blizzard has made for this beta test.
1.) Announcing that everyone who signs up for AP will get in beta when it goes live.
|__> Changed to waves after people signed up.
2.) Only providing 4 servers for a beta test that they have 1.2mil or more people they guaranteed access too.
|__> They should of known better that 4 servers will not be enough.
3.) Stating that the Waves will be based on "When you signed up for the annual pass", "Your total paid time" and "Your account creation date".
|__> Clearly its random as people from 04/05 that have not taken breaks and signed up for the AP on day 1 have yet to get in.
At least they could communicate better with us, I have always had good GM experiences and CS experiences but their forums communication just blows.

600k spread out over 4 servers. That's not very smart. For number 3, yeah they are full of shit. I signed up the day AP came out and I've been subbed sense 08 with only 1 day lapsed.
