Yup. Derax was super awesome and went around to help me with this thread. Every beast should be marked accordingly.

Anyone else going to do what I'm going to do and have a Stampede selection of a variety of looks from the same family? I'm gonna have a dragon Turtle, Classic Turtle, Ancient Turtle (Ghamoo-ra), and Ancient Fire Turtle (Terrorpene) as one team (gonna have to find a filler for the fifth slot); a Core Hound team led by Chromaggus with the Kurken and the three elemental Hounds as backup; a Bird-of-Prey team led by a bald eagle with a parrot, seagull, black hawk (the Nelf druid flying form model), and owl; and a Spirit Beast team led by Loque'nahak.

*scratches head* idk it still is.. odd in appearence. Though ill prolly still tame one

I'm absolutely loving my black tiger. The only problem right now is I gave him a name I didn't like, so that needs to change. But he's so gorgeous! And his eyes, OMIGOSH so pretty! <3

And my turtle, I'm quite fond of him! I gave him the name that I'd name a green drake mount if I ever got one. The name is that of a green dragon (unrelated to WoW) character of mine. He was my first character so I told myself I'd name a green dragonflight drake after him if Blizzard ever gave us one. Whoops. XD
I might see if I can think of something better.

I think the tigers look fine, muscular yeah but tigers are the most muscular cats IRL. And I think they'll have less glitches than the old cat models anyway. LOVE the loading screen-pic! Awesome glowy eyes in the darkness!

I keep trying to tame a black tiger in the Jade Forest, but it keeps popping up at the end of the tame with "Skill not high enough."

Is this a bug or has there been a silent change to Tame Beast?

(85 Hunter trying an 85 Bamboo Prowler, and a few other names/skins with the same result.)

could still be that bug where you have to tame something atleast one lv below yours...I encountered the same error on my lv 85 hunter when I went to tame a dragonturtle of equal lv.

Thanks, I'll work on leveling her, since I haven't found a Kitty at level 84 yet.

Where are the black tirgers at? They are beautiful and would love to get one.

Also so VERY bummed the cranes are not tameable. (I tired three diffrent ones in three diffrent areas and al can back with not tameable *serious sad face* )

Yes, I've seen tameable cranes. Sunset or sunrise something or other. I went through the whole taming process, but then it failed due to skill not high enough

ok, must be the skill lvl glitch...Im the same lvl as they are so hopefuly that will be fixed soon

Oh and YIPPY!!!!!!!! I cant wait to have a crane friend of my own.

I did go and get a new tiger (the black ones wont let me though they are the same lvl, once thats fixed I'll go get me a black tiger and a crane) and I got a porcipine just cause I couldnt help it.

I too am suffering from the "Can only tame lower level pets" bug. Is this universal across hunters or are some of you able to tame same level as you pets?

I'm sort of stuck myself. I want to tame a black tiger, but I'm hobbled by not wanting to play the --Quests-- till release. So unless I run around just slaughtering 100s of mobs all day, I'm not going to hit 86, to be able to tame the lvl 85 cats.

I did get a lil dragonturtle. He's pretty boss.

The level tame glitch is across the board, hunters can only tame beasts that are one level lower than them or below.

I'm the same as you Pepsi, I don't want to do any of the questing content in beta, so I'm staying at 85. I assume later they'll release level 90 premades though, so I can be patient.
