Agreed! They even use the same sounds and animations (something I didn't really realize until I got a plainstrider mount).

Am I the only one that wants a tamable ALLY mount pet? I would not mind at all being able to tame one of the NE cats* with a saddle (don't dig the armor) maybe it is just the Horde in me not liking my face being eaten off by a 'Horde' riding wolf and wants revenge.


*noticed I said mount model cats not mount skin cats sans saddle/reins that we already have some of...

It's harder to do than Horde mounts, because most Alliance mounts don't have tameable families at all. Horses? Nope. Rams? Maybe, with the goat family now (still no saddled rams in the wild). Mechanostriders? Definite nope. Nightsabers? One big exception. Elekks? Nope. Worgen pseudo-racial mounts? See horses. And now Pandaren turtles will use the same model for both factions, so not really an "ally mount pet".

If I had Mia's mounts.... I'd match the red one with that. But I cant get her mounts back until I can copy her over again. >_<

That's pretty much my take on it as well - like the saddled worg from HF ramparts, I just think pets with saddles look odd, personally.

But I'm happy for all those who ARE looking forward to taming one!

I kinda feel the same. I think these are very cool, but I wish they didn't have the saddle and reigns. I wish they were more like the armored boar pets.

Just noting that I've added all the swift riding raptor colours to the MoP potential tameables list. Hopefully that'll help if more are found, and gives us something to hope for

Hmmmm how many mobs use those skins I wonder? I know there PvPRidingRaptorSkinGreen is used in ZG. (allways teases those not lucky enough to of got it in old ZG )

Most are just mounts at the mount vendor. The other interesting ones have no current location listed so I assume they're not in the game.

Yeah those ZG ones are just mounts sadly no chance of taming those.

Wow, I *love* the white riding raptor with the red armour. I don't think I've ever seen that one in game before. I hope they implement it and make it tameable. <3

I'd settle for one of the two colors of these available (while I'm 'meh' on the reins, the armor is just too awesome), but I admit I'm eyeballing some of the other colors with much desire. Dark Black, White, Blue...mmm.

Oh I thought the green was in game...I forgot it was crimson and orange--had the wrong ZG mount model in mind!
