Maybe it would be a good idea to make a MoP rare spawn thread.

Edit: Oh, not sure if anyone else noticed/pointed this out, but the title is a clear reference to Game of Thrones. (Which makes me bloody happy because Daenerys is my favourite character.)

If this is a rare that drops a mount, I'm pretty irritated that it's in what's probably going to be the busiest zone of the entire expansion and throughout the expansion, what with the faction hubs right there. It means that there's going to be a LOT of competition, urgh. I definitely don't mind some competition, but when it gets too crowded, that's when people start getting downright nasty.

Level 90 is available now ... any word on what's up with this rare?

I saw her fly over my head earlier, but nothing more than that. Gonna need someone level 90 and able to fly in order to find out anything new.

Yes, she's up now. I've hit level 90, so I'm flying around her in just... utter awe. She's so gorgeous with the music in this zone.

Does she aggro if you fly up to her? *ducks*

Ooooooo. So more of a puzzle than a straight-up 'it spawned, get it' type of rare? I think I like this idea.

Nice find! So only the prepared AND lucky would nab her...for all of this, she has to drop something pretty snazzy.

I'm starting to think she's some sort of new world boss of some sort. Like it would take a raid to bring her down and she spawns very rarely. But the concept behind her is very neat.

Part of me hopes, though, that she isn't really killable. I like seeing her flying around in the sky It'd be sad to never see her cause she's always camped/killed for something. XD

That'd be a pretty neat concept for a world boss, though Alani doesn't look like one of them. She only has a regular silver dragon on her portrait.

She is one speedy dragon, so maybe we'll get to see her leading a merry chase. And she doesn't appear to be sharing a spawn with anything else, so there's that too.

She only has a little over 2mil health, which is horribly low for a raid boss of any kind. Trash in recent raids has more health than her, lol.

This is really interesting speculation and a neat take on getting her attention. I'm a little more relieved now that I know you can't just fly up and grab her!
