Both are correct, as far as I can tell. All dictionaries I've seen have listed both spellings.

He's friendly and not even classified as a beast, let alone a turtle.
If there was a tameable one of any kind, this tribute would lose its impact. :/ After all, the whole point is that he was alone...
Well, he is a beast, in that you can find him with track beast. But yeah. Friendly, and I personally hope he stays that way. <3

Ooh, that's right. He can be tracked, but if you mouse over him, there's no beast classification.

It's like Colour and Color both are right just different countries use different spelling. I use Colour and Mum instead of Mom.

I love this tribute to lonely George. His spirit healer wings, his antics, the way he follows people around. Even the area where he's found is nice!!
(just did some google searches: Tamable and Tameable are synonyms of each other, so using either of them is correct. Just because its not the way one person spells it, does not mean the other way is wrong, it's just different.)

Both words are correct. I used to go back and forth, but I mostly prefer the 'tameable' spelling because I can't help wanting to pronounce 'tamable' like flammable. Even Blizzard doesn't seem to be able to make their mind up on the spelling. When you use Beast Lore on things, you get the messages Tameable or Untameable. Then there's Gleok the hydra though, and he has the title of Untamable. As Cow said, it's like color and colour really.

Oh right. o: Well I'd never seen 'tamable' anywhere else before and to me it looks... wrong. Like Veph said, looks like it should be pronounced like 'flammable'. I had no idea it was like color/colour though, I thought that tamable was just everyone spelling it wrong! Then again to me color isn't correct either... damn Americans. ... <:

I'm surprised Blizzard hasn't done a tribute to this:
The Crocodile, named Pocho, was found by the man, named Chito, with a bullet wound in it's head and was near death. Chito then raised Pocho back to full health and tried to release him, but Pocho followed him home.
The Croc is not brain damaged or drugged. It is VERY hard to give a Croc brain damage, as many Crocs like Gustave have been shot in the head and are still fully functional. Drugs are also ruled out because if used on a reptile their heart could stop. So, this is a genuine bond.
Also, much like Lon'li Guju, the Pocho tribute will need the Angel Wings.

its good that you have so many ideas and stuff but you also derail alot of threads man....no offense but maybe you should start a thread about other animals that should have tributes put in game and let us discuss this one here. not trying to be a jerk its just something i noticed and felt like i should speak up.

So..
People above him start a discussion about tamable vs tameable and he's accused of derailing because he links pictures and tells a short story about another animal he believes deserves a tribute..
Does not compute.

It is because that in question refers to whats being discussed in said thread is what I thought he was trying to say and the crocodile(while a heart warming story) does not.

I wasn't really attempting to make the tamable/tameable thing a discussion, I wrote it at the end of a comment as a 'PS' kind of note, and then everyone started talking about it. And something to do with it popped up which I didn't know so I would've felt rude not to make a response... So it wasn't really derailing as such. But when Crot started talking about an entirely different thing that should be a tribute in-game, that's the point where he should've just made a new thread for it.
And, no offence or anything to Crot, but he does derail threads a *lot* and I'm kinda glad I'm not the only person that noticed...
People should learn that derailing a thread happens 99% of the time now anyway, it's far too easy to do.
But, back on topic, I feel that Lonesome George deserves this tribute more than anyone else right now. He died very recently and it struck the hearts of many and, while a heart-warming and also sad story, I've honestly never heard of that crocodile before. I hear about a lot of heart-warming and sweet stories to do with animals but not all of them can have a tribute in-game, else it'd be the World of Tributes and not the World of Warcraft. xD It's also well timed, since George died just recently and Blizzard didn't wait a few years to make the tribute. Blizzard often seem slow when it comes to 'catching on' to things (Anyone remember the Chuck Norris hunter ad that appeared about five years after the meme was dead?) but it makes me happy they seemed to do this without a second thought. (:

The discussion of "what is gramatically correct; tamable or tameable?" is relevant to a discussion about a tribute to Lonesome George in-game? Yeaaaaah....
Also Everdeen, I was not blaming you because obviously you weren't intending to turn it into a huge discussion and nor do I mind. I only mind it because it's a bit ironic that Crotalus is the one being accused for derailing.
