Thanks in advance, Bluddy

PS: oh and mini-beetle :S
If you check ownedcore, someone (unfortunately..) posted it there who did it to their oil-wolf and has a picture.. personally, I am unwilling to add to touch them, in case the pets get wiped and it takes my other, previous buffs along with them :)

I totally lost all my bond for ban'thalos so i burned him haha

How he looks on all his sides to me his become too bright and also the fire is on his face so he looses his face to the fire.

Also adding skoll who is now thunder and fire he looks so much better than ban.

Deth'tilac on fire.

and random basilisk aswell they seem to have alot of fire, can't see it on pic.

I thought the core hound would have an all over one but you can only see it from the front.

I lost the ban'thalos from behind pic to another pic haha but it looks the same as the from front one so that's fine.

Great find! Now I have a real incentive to get leveling! I love all the pics everyone has posted since I'm trying to decide what to set on fire once I get to that point.

Anyone happen to have a flame tallstrider or nether ray or goat they could post a pic of? :)

So i saw this and instantly thought, what if you did it with the oil stained wolf? Would it carry both effects?

Again, not sure if it's something I would recommend in case Blizzard does a full buff wipe and you lose your oil too :)

Can someone on US severs set some of my pets on fire? Since we have cross realm zones and all.

Every single one of my flaming pets has been wiped. And I retried the method, flames don't stay.

Looks like this was sneak hotfixed :(

D'oh.

I was expecting this, but was still hoping to try it before it was fixed. Alas, I was too slow. Oh well, fun while it lasted. :)

Didn't think it would last long. Blizz is onto our methods.

Man why did blizz have to fix it so soon :( now my sword wolf is going to be boring again.

They should of let us have the effect :p just tone it down a bit perhaps.

It's quite likely (though I can't say for certain) that they weren't out to ruin anyone's fun but the fix to stop that loophole also wiped out any grandfathered effects in the process. Fixing it was important. Even though this instance was a harmless and fun cosmetic buff, the loophole may have allowed exploitable buffs to sneak through as well. It's a shame for anyone who wanted to try it though.

A lot of things have been fixed in a hurry in the last 24 hours. My guess is that they were just having a clean up marathon. Maybe in prep for 5.1, which I believe is supposed to be sooner rather than later.

Wait what?!? Does this mean that all oily pups and consumed bears, etc. have had their effects removed now also? Or just those whom had the fire effect, I'm confused... :|

It appears as though it's only the new fire pets, my oil wolf and burning boar are still intact.
