I can't do it only myself, my friend helped me to kill. It doesn't matter the ability as long as the ability can kill pet.

And how often did you get a dead tame? We've been trying but most of the time the pet dies before tame or is tamed normally.

I've been cleaning out this place trying to get the right timing down and having no luck :/

I finally got it! I kept thinking to myself, "man, I wish one other person would get it so I know that it for sure works," so I'm letting everyone know it does! It took us a little over an hour, with many deaths before the tame finished.

What skill were you killing the tiger with? And how much before the tame completed?

I tried for awhile to get it on my own, but eventually I recruited someone to help me. If you do it on your own, I know Serpent Sting has to kill the tiger.

Yeah we are trying with two, using Kill Shot, I have no idea if the skill matters.

If I gave my battle tag do you think we can help each other get one? I have no one atm to kill the sha pets for me. :c

Oh, I misunderstood, sorry! I had a warrior helping me, but I have no idea what he was using to kill the mob. I'm sure it doesn't matter as long as whatever it is one shots the tiger. Each time we got the health below 10k (before starting the tame) to make sure that it didn't take more than one hit to finish it off.

Hey.. you're on my server. I just saw you as I came out of the AH in SW. I thought, "Gee, that's gotta be someone who lurks the Petopia forums to be right on that pet."

Then I saw the outfit and recognized it from your screenshot.

Been trying for days now - Tons of tame on deaths and revives and all w/o the sha-touch :/ so frustrating

Seems the hardest part about this is getting someone to help.

So something strange happened.

I had my friend dueling me while I was taming, because YOLO. And he killed it AFTER I had tamed it. It dinged 90 and lost its sha effect. When it died, it poofed. It wasn't in my stables, it wouldnt res, but it said I had 5 pets. When I relogged, I had a sha tiger!

Pretty darn happy. I'm about to try for the others and use them FOR SCIENCE. If I tame another, I'll kill it and bring it into an arena, then come back with the results of what happens.

I'm really tempted to try and do this, but the fact it loses the effect when it dies is what is holding me back. It seems to be tedious to tame, and having to drag someone out there to help me and waste their time just doesn't feel like it's worth it to me, especially if for whatever reason it dies. Then I'd have wasted their time even more. I'd want to use it, not have it sit in the stables where it'll be safe from losing the effect, or only bringing it out in town to show off.

When the appearence tames were still uncontrolled too, people who tamed pets that lost glows upon death found out that when -they- died, not the pet, the pet lost the buff. Or so ive been led on to believe when it was a huge thing to have appearence 'enhanced' pets. So to own and keep it permanently would mean to take it out only when your in safe places. And never take any appearence 'enhanced' pet into an Arena. Hidden and visible buffs are wiped, all appearence and week long buffed pets (stable glitch) lose those perks when entering an Arena.

Just um, a lil warning to those new to these types of tames ^^

Im having a problem with this, could u give a little more detail, like did u lose the duel or how long after u tamed it before your friend killed it.
