Looking at the pictures from the "Potential pet colors" sticky, this looks to be more like that brown Dire Horn than the white Dire Horn (look at the eye color too). Speaking of which, I can't wait for the white Dire Horn!

The devilsaur seems really quiet. I didn't have my volume on when I had the dire horn out so I don't know if they stomp or not (but I'm also thinking quiet, too).


And if mister devilsaur wasn't large enough, the ice trap is even larger!

And, an unrelated-but-related-to-5.2 beasts thing: I've been beast lore-ing everything regardless of dinosaur or not. I found some tameable crabs on the coast; I think they're just the red w/ blue skin (also found in Krasarang). (screenshot included)

(And completely unrelated but since I'm not Alliance I was Eagle Eyeing into their hub and:
- Jaina's model is the completely blond one? (couldn't tell but that's how it looked. Odd placeholder? Or is she magically better again)
- Wh-wh- IMAGE OF ARCHMAGE VARGOTH!? HA! How I'd like to sneak in there and give him a piece of my mind! I like that it's still just his image, though.)

What kind of diet do they have?

Also, while I have no inside knowledge, I suspect they may be intended to be NON-exotic. If they are going to the effort of making special taming quests I have a feeling they'll want it to be for all hunters. Just a guess though.

Also, giant baby raptors look very creepy! And low res! I hope they're placeholders too :/

If it helps, the dire horns (tamed) are smaller than tamed quilen.

Is this what you are looking for? Edit: I wasnt aware you could beast lore your own pet. The diet is Fungus and Fruit.

Thanks That icon is the only dire horn one I'd seen in the database, but it also has a harness one it, so I wasn't sure if they were going to use it. Good to have it confirmed.

Maybe they don't have diets yet. I presume it'll be a vegetarian one. Bread and fungus or something.

Theres a lot of dragon turtles and great dragon turtles in the swamp area, but they use Camo turtle coloration atm.

The new devilsaur texture makes me sad. It's so awesome, but it makes my King Krush look lame. If I see an updated green skin, I may just have to give Krush up.

They have a green one, but it's more olive green. We don't know if it'll be in game though, much less tameable. I"m hoping right along with ya.

I give up. Either I luck into a group or Blizzard fixes the portals.

I can't wait for a certain few youtubers to make a certain video concerning certain dinosaurs looks and animations.

Ugh, it seems the big problem is that a lot of people on the PTR don't play retail. -_- Blizz stop making PTR free it's full of people goofing off. D:
