I went all over the Isle of Thunder. Even in the areas that are still locked I have tested all of the Pterrorwings, and none are tamable. I was really hoping to find one hidden tamable one....

Hmm, all I can say on the matter is that I'm extremely skeptical.

OP, if you've legitimately come here seeking information or certainty on what you saw, we currently have no reason to believe there are any tameable skyscreamers, and the community will be doubtful at best without some form of proof. As mentioned before, there have been hoaxes in the past, so it's not really a stretch to understand why we might not take this sort of thing too seriously.

Even so, if there is some way to tame one, I'm sure it will be found eventually, as you can see by the testing already being done by some people in this thread.

I'm personally still leaning towards it being some sort of glitch, a misunderstanding due to stampede or dire beast, or a fabrication altogether.

I'm wondering about the Rare spawn, Skydude right now. If you were to kill him and not his pet, would his pet become tameable? Or would it be like the Hawkstriders that say they are tameable but are controlled...?

It is, but well-salted.

I can confirm this and the other tame.
In fact, I think there's some glitch where normally untamable enemies can become tamable.

Just today I was doing dailies on the Isle of Thunder and there was a player with a new pet.
I asked him where he got it, but he didn't respond.

Yeah, I think there's definitely a glitch as far as taming untameables goes, as I'm now the proud owner of a freshly-tamed Darth Jadus.

The oddest thing is, his diet just reads "Orphans."

Spent about a day discussing this with my friends on WRA, we've come to the conclusion that this is probably clever use of the Dire Beast spell from our level 60 skill choices.

However because we've had some conflicting sightings, eG: seeing a tamed one in panderia there still is some (albeit very little) room for doubt.

I think this is just people trying to troll Petopia.

The only reason there's any room for doubt is because we've had first time posters before who've had legitimate info. On the other hand, said posters had screenshots, if nothing else. And we're pretty good at spotting fakes.

That Rag tame is totally legit, though.

i have also been checking the tames on restarts sense dungeons are a pain when its going on.and i also have found non of the sky beast tameable.i even checked the ones on the ship reck place to see it at least 1 was but big NO.

in other news i tamed Deathwing.he can't be summoned though cause he takes up the whole dame zones.

I tamed OnyxIa but every time I summon her, people attack and kill her and then whine in chat with things like "#%&$--- no mount---AGAIN".

All you have to do is stand next to a Juvenile Skyscreamer, press alt and z, and presto! You have a new pet!
