What if they were to come out with a big but completely serious announcement today, and the April Fool's joke is that there isn't a big April Fool's joke.

PLEASE tell me you've seen the Ghostcrawler "paperclip" on worldofwarcraft.com?

It can be either by Blizzard, or someone else. The OP said the page was only up for a bit before it got taken down, but I doubt that. Seems more like a cover for something he/his friends/an acquaintance/someone else did, and he just said "Blizzard made it".

The ghost crawler paperclip thing is more a "teehee" thing then..you know, an actual joke announcement or something....
The Dark Ranger thing though, now that looks neat (and unbelievable)

Crabby's been around for a few years. This year, he wasn't even updated from last year. He still thinks everyone is 85 and just beaten Deathwing (and he won't even appear for me unless I'm logged out, in which case he just spams the DID YOU FORGET YOUR PASSWORD bubble, fail)

I could have sworn the kidzz thing was also from a past AFD.

Honestly so far I've only heard that Blizzard's done something for SC2, and not for anything else.

Most disappointing AFD ever. :'(

Eh I find most AFD things to be dumb. Hell I find the "holiday" to be stupid in the first place.

BUT some of Wows have been cool (mostly the reactions of people from them)

The April Fool joke this year is that Noblegarden starts today too... you're going to be running around AGAIN looking fr those damned eggs, and hoping to get that stupid dress to drop, and get enough eggs to get the items you didn't get last year, or the year before...

I remember some guy kept yelling that he was doing the Harlem Shake. I thought he was just trying to be annoying. That was quite funny. I can't remember, but isn't Crabby usually up for the whole day? They may have taken him down due to the ridiculously negative reaction from the forum community, but I noticed a really odd message come up from Crabby; it was in blue, there was incorrect spelling, and it was definitely not something I imagine they would have him say. It was an odd one about a character in the game. I didn't think to screenshot it until I closed it, and I couldn't get it to come up again, and learned a lot more about hats in the process than I needed to. Did anyone else see it?

As much as I doubt the Dark Ranger page has anything to do with Blizzard, it's still nifty.

Also, iunno about you, but when I log in to the battle.net forums, Crabby congratulates me on being level 90, and how I'm in his park now.
I seriously want a Crabby minipet that occasionally says stuff like that x3

My Crabby made reference to level 90 too, so he was updated on the fly.

Dark Ranger is a fantastic concept, even as a prank (regardless of the source).

So did Blizzard even officially announce anything that was a prank this year? Ive seen some stuff (Crabby, Supply Depot) that was older, and I only saw the Dark Ranger on fan sites, not official Blizzard sites. Kinda sad, I was wanting to see what they come up. The patch notes they did a few years back was awesome!

Edit: I mean WoW related. I saw the Warhound SC2 thing.
