I am thinking I might go back, retame pets that I have lost, and perhaps I'll actually delete those extra hunters now, make another class to try out. The only reason I have so many hunters is to let me keep the pets that I couldn't fit on my main hunter.

Really, really hope this is not an April Fool's joke!

Here you go. At first I was just going to add to the bottom of the original and keep the rows of 5, but that was ridiculously long, so I had to compromise with the last row being smaller.

Gah, Veph, you're wonderful. I was thinking about making a brand new pet grid myself today since I'm one of those that wants one of each pet species now. Thank you. <3

This is great news, and while the amount is way more than we could have expected, you can see the thinking behind it; it will be much, much harder for people to seriously claim that they need or have bonded with fifty five pets and still require more slots (I say much harder because I'm sure it will happen eventually).

For me this means that I don't have to feel guilty about my cat-hoarding anymore! Realistically I don't think I will use up too many, but still I'll be checking Petopia to see which cats buffs I don't have which I will now be able to accomodate.

OMFG seriously?? This is a shock. It goes against everything they've ever said about wanting the bond between hunter and pet to be special. I didn't want more stable slots but I confess my first thought on hearing this news was that I can now go get back a few special pets I had to let go for lack of space, lol.

I'm positive if this sticks it's because of the roar of the "moar stable slots" crowd. I guess the squeeky wheels are gettin' greased! I never expected it but I can't say I'm unhappy about it!

I wouldn't say so. We currently have 25 slots. That's 25 pets, and yet I still know that my warp stalker is my favourite. She's my baby girl and even with 30 new pets she'll still be my favourite.

This! Plus A while back GC said something about our pets being "boon companions" as opposed to just collectibles when asked about the possibility of a stable increase. It was basically a NO. That's what I was thinking of when I posted earlier.

I suspect that while Blizzard doesn't want us to be crazy cat ladies, the team as a whole has decided to acknowledge that there are, in fact, some hunters who are crazy cat ladies.
