The top one would be just about perfect to me. But really, if either model showed up in game as tamable, I'd add it to my pride for sure.

Personally also, I really don't think its very fitting for a great celestial spirit to be "tamed."
I may have a hunter just for the sake of having a bow, and on my other characters I don't go anywhere without my jade crane chick battle pet summoned. And I want EVERY type of worg and wolf to tame.
But even I'm not THAT crazed. Xuen is not a tamable animal or some hunter companion. Besides he's a billion times bigger than us all graphically. And a pandaren celestial. So just hold it, beast mastery hunters.

Not that I'm aware. I heard Shaman's could summon their puppies for hunters to tame or something(I dunno what truth there is to that as I wasn't around for that).

The shaman class learnt to summon them after hunters could tame the grim totem spirit wolf. However, thrall could summon them in the battle for hyjal raid before hunters could tame them. The reason why blizzard removed them was they already knew that they were going to make it a spell for the shaman class, they'd just not done it yet.

Ah! thank you for clearing that up. So it was technically already a shaman spell just not implemented in the game for players.
