I want a Hi! I see the assassins failedbutton!

Really though, the few times I met someone who played WoW, we discussed our servers/factions....And then we ended up talking about raiding and guilds. xD Totally went over the faction part, though I'm Alliance and he's Horde.

Yeah, because obviously, we pick gear based on it's looks, are too pretty to run, and instead wait for resses, and we just play good classes, like priests and druids.

Aha! Gotta love meeting other WoW players randomly! Even if you're of the opposite faction! I, of course, have my own story of this! So, me and my parents were on vacation in Hawai'i, and one night we were at an awesome Luau. The tables there sat quite a few people, so there were other people at the same table as us, including a young couple.. I had been playing on my DSi (Playing Pokemon of course) but I have a Trolls race sticker on the back of it, so the guy asked me if I played WoW! Turns out he was Alliance, but I don't think either of us cared about factions really lol

We also ended up seeing the same couple when we were on the first plane back home too, which was pretty awesome. I seriously never thought that I'd meet another WoW player in Hawai'i, especially not at a Luau of all places! XD

"Is it spreading?"

"Yes. Yes it is gentlemen. The influence is spreading. After our next three expansions, we will have enough subliminal messages to control the world."

RANDOM EDITZ

Found a little video that actually relates to WoW. Rather random, some may find it stupid, but eh. It has WoW stuff! You are obliged to watch!

Okay. That was awesome. Totally can see Blizzard plotting to take over the world. Using same method I've thought up as well...Interesting to see if they take the warehouse route...

I'm about to reveal my true age here (36), but it is really amazingly utterly cool that so many people in the real world are aware of WoW, even if they don't play.

You know how when you are on a plane you sometimes get stuck talking to the person next to you, and usually they want to know what you do? I used to have to start my explanations with "Have you heard of the game Dungeons & Dragons?" and half the time they'd wrinkle their noses and say, "That satanic game? I saw something on the news about that."

Now I can start with "Have you heard of World of Warcraft?" and even if they haven't, I can follow up with "Oh, Well it's a really popular video game. I'm surprised you haven't heard of it." And go back to reading my book ... which is all I ever wanted to do anyway.

But anyway ... it is really absolutely thrilling to me that WoW is pervading the cultural consciousness.

Here 2 funny things about this strip: I went to the site and 1) the artist/writer says he doesn't even play WOW and 2) the bulk of his work doesn't even center around WOW. So maybe the artist happened to overhear and saw the reaction of two people discussing WOW and decided to share.

Eh, maybe. Marigold does play WoW though, so maybe he just toyed with what he knew of WoW.

No, Jeph used to play WoW. He takes quite a few jabs at the game, all in good fun.

Ah sweet sweet Marigold. The ultimate anime/manga, WOW fangirl.
I love the events between her and her AnthroPC Momo in issue numbers 1473-1475 when Momo get obsessed with a Raid, fries the computer when Marigold tries to get her off the computer and then Marigold rushes off to call her Guild Leader to evidently explain what happened.
But despite the WOW reference the whole comic series is great and a great time stealer since I've spent 5 hours reading all the strips starting from the beginning and wishing how I had an AnthroPC.
