looks like im transmogging this tier ... who am i kidding.. im transmogging the current tier

Just saw the set on MMO....

Am I the only person that really digs this armor? It looks like Grey Fox from Metal Gear.

Well we went from having dead animals on our heads to having uh an eye? It just doesn't feel.. hunter like. And yes the eye is like the rogue set lol.
I don't get how we get all techno for this tier. Killing Garrosh seems anything but techno, hes an old school "kill em all type" but.. then again what hunter tier is ever really awesome lol

I think I just figured out why this set is all techno...

Think about the new Isle, and some of the new crafting mats.. words like Timeless, Accelerated, and more are all over.

Our new set is "TimeStalker".

Could be worse.. think about the barrens were Garrosh resides.. we could have OrcStalker or BoarStalker...

I always rather liked the warrior set with the boar pauldrons. I'd rather have something like that than this...whatever this is.

Still waiting to see what the shoulders look like...

I'm hoping the PVP "feather" set will indeed be available for honor with 5.4. I will grind for that if it is, and tmog to that.

It's certainly interesting, and different. Whether or not I like it, at least it's not generic.

Just based on all the time references on the new Isle... and the look of the gear. We had the TimeLord mage set in DS..

Yeah, I remember. Which is why I thought them naming it timestalker oddish as that was normally a Mages thing.

I personally thought that the theme for this tier for all classes was based on Titans/Titan technology, as they all have a very very similar feel and look to them. Though I could be wrong, but I have noticed that when blizzard like to design with "time" as a concept they do seem to give it a real "Steam punk" edge to it with cogs and goggle and such.

And while the tiers certainly have a very high technology/titan ornate design, the "steam punk" elements seem to be lacking. I have no idea what "stalker" it would be though, and again I could be wrong all together.

Nope, based on the look, no idea what else it would be.. it isn't really, Mogu, and it certainly isn't orcish. So with time references all over the isle...

I actually thought it was Mogu-inspired. Reminds me of the Thunder Isle "printed circuit board" look. And the swirly bits are definitely Mogu style.

True, there are bits of it, and the "light" portions have some resemblance to elements with Animus.

I could see that.. but it certainly doesn't look "MoguStalker" either.

I have to disagree. I like the style of most of the classic hunter tiers with bits of creatures on our armor, same with the challenge mode transmog.

This, I can say without a doubt, is my least favorite of any hunter set ever, including BoE blues and greens or quest gear.
To me, this set is

* Not fitting to the theme of hunters in general
* Not aesthetically pleasing
* Not one stable design, it looks more like a mishmash of two or three

I don't even know what else to say about this set. I'm very glad for the people who like it, but I'm definitely not one of those people.
