I'm not in this picture, but my lovely Christmas present is. I swear he climbed there on his own when I got to the IF tree the evening I tamed him, as if saying, "I'm your best present this year!" And he truly was. Couldn't resist taking a screenie

Yeah, They really did cut alot out of the HP movies, but I still like them, although the sixth wasn't as great as I'd hoped. I'm really happy they are making Deathly Hollows into two movies, instead of just cutting out a lot of the book. And I liked Eragon as a movie when I watched iy, but that was before I read the books, and I agree that they did not do well in the Book-To-Movie transition.

Fair enough. It's usually my experience that when people say they named stuff after a movie that's based on a book, they haven't read the book. And I have to say, Aslan looked awesome in the movie.

[cough] Liam Neeson as the voice of Aslan did it for me...and that epic roar that halted the battle between Prince Peter and Jadis *swoons* I did the read the books, btw, and loved them as much as I love the films. Griefstrike's and Tibs' personalities are somewhat based on Neeson's Aslan [/end cough]

Only one 'ere for the time being. This one came out the best of the five I took in Sholazar with Laz and her alphas. I'll have to take the other four again when there isn't anyone hunting Loque out and about (which is a tiny five minute window XD).

This is Kegan (once Echeyakee). He is my oldest pet and my most beloved. I would willingly give up any of my other pets before him. We've leveled together, been through instances, and even what little bit of raiding I've done, chances are Keegs is with me.



This is Charlie (formerly Loque'nahak). The original spirit beast, and the one I camped for off and on for months to find. I actually wasn't even looking for him when I stumbled across him in Sholazar that fateful evening, I was just mining on autopilot when I landed at his spawn point for a titanium node. Great night, I got both my prized kitty and the node!



Meet Jerkface (a run of the mill warp stalker) next. He has been warping in and out of my stables for the better part of a year, but has finally made a home for himself. All of his appearances have been named Jerkface, ever since the very first one decided he wanted to be a smartass and warp out of my frost trap mid-tame. I can't imagine Jerk with any other name.



My other spirit beast is Tesla (Skoll). As with Charlie, I wasn't even looking for her, she just appeared one day. I was also quite lucky in that I saved her from being killed by a forsaken DK just in the nick of time.



I know he's been in my signature for a while now, but he's actually just gotten off of a stint where he -wasn't- (because I have had restless stable slots syndrome). But now he's home for good, so meet Drooly/Firebrand (once The Beast, because that's awesome). Also his baby. I'm happy to have him home, and look forward to expanding the stable further later on.

Oh what an awesome thread... I love seeing what pets people chose, and their hunters! I suppose I'll share good ol' Aqui the grumpface and his stables!

First is Ferrum, my beloved wolf. Aqui's had wolves since I created him, because at the time everyone had cats (kinda ironic really o.O) and now it just feels wrong for him not to have one. For a long time he had Snarler from Feralas, then when he got to Northrend, he got rid of him for various other pets. Then one day a friend told me they were camping for "Old Cliff Jumper"... I looked him up, was awed, and the search was on. I only found him recently, literally was in the midst of saying "Gah, he doesn't exist" when NPC scan went off and I yelped XD So yeah. Ferrum is wonderful. <3

Coriander, tied for 'favorite pet' with Animus. Named after a harmless (but tasty!) green herb, I RP him as being a big dork, very silly and goofy, loves chocolates Oo; Taming him was epic and difficult, and I spent months and months searching for him. I cannot see him ever leaving my stables. <3 People in Dal love to throw babyspice at him or /cheer at us both =P

Borealis, who I think is beautiful. No big story behind him, I got very lucky and literally saw him spawn before me when I tamed him. I'll be honest and admit I mostly just have this pet because I think he looks darn cool.

Anxiety! A friend whispered me one evening and said, "Hey, do you want Skoll? o.O" and how could I say no... so off I flew, and Skoll was mine. I'd always adored him but because of college I did not have time to camp him, so I'd pretty much given up hope on ever having him in my stables. But I do now, and he's /awesome./ Probably the pet I PVP with most often, because the day I got him Thunder Bluff got attacked and he was invaluable in my defense efforts. Plus he just looks incredible bestial wrath'd >:D

And last but /certainly/ not least, the king of my stables (shh, don't tell Coriander >.>) -- Animus. I've had Animus longer than any other pet. All my guildies from that time (the guild has since broken up) still tease me about 'living' in the basin during that camp... haha. They'd take turns helping me do laps to find him. In the end, I found him during a very sleepy final lap early, early one morning and was beyond ecstatic. :3 Animus won't ever be leaving my stables, he's awesome. In RP terms, he's really lazy and fickle, but he has a knack for showing up when Aqui is in major trouble and needs help.

Or to bat at Aqui's feet and drive him crazy. XD

Sp yeah, that's Aquillian's stable! Looking forward to seeing more pics posted here *grabby hands* =P oh, and once my itty hunter alt has a stable I know she'll be keeping, I'll post her too.
