Just got my Qiraji Guardling. Was about 5 of the buggers hanging around.

That's how I got mine, too (as well as the tanaris pet).
I've parked my low-lvl altie there, queued for dungeons (dps, just under lvl 60 = the dreadful U/LBRS queues) and lvled any pet I felt like using later up to lvl ~10, that is till they were ready for safely soaking the EK/K dailies' exp.

Well, I got my Qiraji Guardling right after that hotfix without much fanfare, and then I actually had to catch a few critters in Hyjal I hadn't gotten around to grabbing before, like the Carrion Rat!

Just got the zookeper yesterday evening
And with a p/p guardling on top. She's a poor, but I'll upgrade her with the first humanoid stone I get. Don't feel like wasting time looking for a rare pp one.

The increased spawn rate is simply crazy, and since most of the campers left after getting their title there's not much competition anymore. Beside me were just 2-3 people who, just like me, were shuffling through the spawns, looking for the right breed/rarity.

does waving the white flag for a pet battle remove 10% health from ALL your pets? or only those three on your team?

Only those in team - so you can shuffle through spawns with a fake-party and then change to your catch-party when you find the one you want.

It's been heavily camped on my server most of this week, but I went real early this morning, and there was no one around. No one except a ton of spawns. I managed to get a blue Qiraj and a blue scorpid and a blue spiky lizard. I hit the jackpot.

I returned yesterday and there was nary a soul camping.
I got a green Guardling on my first try, but every other one was a grey. however, happily, I also upgraded a beetle to blue.
so not wasted time.

I'll go back at some later date and see if I can find a blue Guardling.

Now, November.. I only need the owl. Stupid me, I didn't realize that there was a "seasonal" pet to that achievement so didn't get my owl when I could have.
