You're right, they could easily have done another murloc-themed mount, which would have caught more people's attention as well as keeping the murloc tradition alive without being too repetitive. A turtle or sea-dragon with a murloc perched on it, or something

Hmm, my Human Warlock is named Malignos. I guess that means he's gonna turn on my other toons , kill them, and steal all their gold. Actually I gave him that name because human 'Locks are frowned upon and have to be secretive with their practices and rituals.

In LOTRO, my Elf Hunter is named Malaghan. He has behaved himself so far but I guess I'll have to keep an eye on him too.

hmmm, so technically "evil fire"? good Lock name.

It would be awesome if while idle, Murkalot would fight other players' Murkablos like Grunty fights the Zergling pet.

Haha, yeah I posted something similar on the official forums. I was hoping for an interaction with Murkablo or the Fettish. I love those little things. When ever I see a grunty I always get out my zergling and enjoy the mayhem
