Should have said that.. same model, different colors, was brighter, more contrast it appeared. Of course could still be a placeholder.

Zangermarsh is an sea/bay right now, so we likely won't see too much of those type of beasts.

Well, maybe we'll see some new models.

If I have time today (and the line isn't long) I'll try to get on the demo again to see if I can find anything else.

Ok, I found...

2 more color variants of the boars and the wolves, all tan/grey/etc variants.

One more sporebat color, lighter, on a rarespawn.

And one brand new beast, will type that one out after dinner..

This press release mentions three creatures by name where we're unsure of their look: genesaurs, fara, forelings.

Do you happen to know what any of those might be? I'm wondering if the genesaur is the evil hippo-looking thing from the concept art.

And the new beast is riverbeast.

Picture a hippo with very beefy and slightly amoured shoulders, and a very large platypus type tail. Light tan/grey in color.

Saw rare/elite versions of boar, riverbeast, sporebat.

There was also a new sprite type creature, some kind of little flower poeple, humanoid.

Your description makes it sound pretty similar.

Body a bit longer, not quite as thick, and face much more hippoish, but that is certainly it.

That does a nice job of showing you the tail.

Yep, also them, but the in game ones reminded me more of the sporegar folk, but with the petals, and they are certainly smaller.

If they'e taking a lot of inspiration from SB's art, that would be so friggin cool cause really, the art you make SB is absolutely stunning and completely up Blizzards ally. The stuff you make shares a lot of similarities to the in-game models/blizz made sketches too and the sketchwork you make up and they definitely looks on par with official concept art

Updated the OP to include a summary of the most likely creatures and info from Slickrock (thanks Slick!).

Also added the concept art shot of the "plated worm" looking chimaera heads.

I was scared it'd be one of those things that they made concept art of but wouldn't actually use.
