I feel a bit iffy on the Ravager classification, to be honest, but it really doesn't matter because regardless it's a cool looking creature. I just think it's an odd choice to go with such a different body shape (that's so Silithid looking) and still call it a Ravager. Again though, not complaining because we get a cool new model.

The tooltip for this mount on MMOChamp says the capabilities for this mount change depending on riding skill and location. Link. Maybe it can fly?

Edit: MMOChamp uploaded a video with animation, and it does have a flying animation with the wings on its back. Its... interesting.

Since Draenor flying mounts fly on the ground (no flying + show off your cool mount) per CStockton's twitter, you can probably imagine that they have both cool fly and ground anims.

depending on riding skill and location... booh yea its a store mount.. but good question.. how are dem tiny wings gona fly.. specialy if a tauren/dranei/worgen males ride that thing lol

So it uses the kunchong moveset? Kunchongs fly, too
Super cute. I would say it will end up in the store. Another option would be the new pvp zone reward, but I'm afraid it's a bit to cool for it.

I like how the flying animations show the link to Outland ravagers. You can really see the resemblance when they're in that position, and how they might contort to become the (presumably) corrupted Outland form.

You guys know that silithids have that "no-mouth" syndrome. That is, they have mandibles, but no orifice there that constitutes an actual mouth. Just a black-ish-grey block.


They have .. sorta solved that problem with the ravager. Not as a part of the model, but as a part of the textures. And it's sorta..

Personally I'd of rather gotten a OL ravager mount. The more I see this the less I like it :/

I shrugged when I first saw this mount, as I have a Silithid mount whose look I prefer. But once the wings came out...after flying is enabled in Draenor, I can see myself re-subbing at least for a while.

I think it looks really cool.

Though where on earth would you even sit on an 'outland ravager'? On its belly like some kind of lawn chair? I'm sure the main changes to its anatomy had to do with being able to park someone's butt on it. XD

I think you could easily make a OL ravager mount work. Really all a ravager is is a walking sofa with a head

If it's a ravager, maybe it's the pre-Draenor-Fel-Shattered Ravager? A lot of Draenor denizens were corrupted because of the shattering; Arrakoa become flightless, Some Draenei lost connection to the light and broken, felboar etc.
