Though, I'm trying to figure out what the Serpent Sting "replacement" for BM hunters is XD I think I missed it, but servers aren't staying up long enough to look around.

I don't think there is a replacement for SS. Afaik we're supposed to rely on flame trap.

I tell you what I miss is the MIsdirect glyph. But it's gone. The distracting shot glyph is still there but I've always felt it was inferior... sadly the servers don't stay up long enough for me to even try it.

Also, apparently this first beta build (for macs) has a similar severe CPU leak to the MoP beta (it's not QUITE as awful but it's close), so your machine burns along at 200% cpu even on the loading screen, and temps run up to 175 degrees for me at least.

That's what I was afraid of. Our rotation seems very... empty. I know this was to prevent "bloat" but now I feel like we don't really have a rotation. o_O However, the spellbook guide thing (that shows main abilities) seems to hint that we may get a SS replacement; or they're jsut slow in removing it.

And about the CPU leak, I wonder if its affecting PC units somehow too (I'm not smart on that). But what you described happening sounds just like what I was experiencing with my comp just now.

It might be. A lot of mac users run Activity Monitor to keep an eye on their usage (me included)... if you have a PC you might not be able to see how hard your box is jogging (or have some kind of overpowered gaming box that don't care) and that's why it hasn't shown up on the pc forums yet. It doesn't seem to be quite as heinous as the MoP bug but it's definitely there and problematic. It may well have a different cause, however, and thus affect both platforms.

I got in too! I just need to wait for it to download before I try myself at it. Is there a character copy that works, or do we have to create new character's from scratch?

The character copy is working now, though the Beta itself is pretty unstable today. Which is to be expected after a brand new wave of invites. Just have to be patient!
