Well, they could of just left the outland models and not given us a new model at all. I for one am really in love with the new model.. doesn't bother me too much it's the pre-OL ones, even if another raptor model would always be welcome.

There actually are Outland style raptors in Draenor, along with the new model. I believe they were added in this patch too, all the raptors I recall used to be skeletal and now some are new model and some are outland style.

I like these ones more than any other raptors we've had so far.
The selling point for me is that they don't have necklaces and beads, which are interesting because they indicate high intelligence - but still look strange to me on a hunter pet.

These may possibly be more "primal" #savage than their azeroth relatives.

I'd of let this slide if they had not of updated most of the other OL models. But they did. This new model is neat but I'd love it 100 times more if it was a updated OL one.

I'm not sure I get people saying these are too much of a stretch as a source beast. I mean...compare Draenor ravagers to Outland ones. After that, almost any gap makes sense! (To be clear--I am not insulting the Draenor ravagers.)

I definitely like these. And I definitely prefer them sans feathers, because the painted-on jewelry of Azeroth raptors drove me batty. After trying pretty much every raptor that was anywhere close to my preferred colors and just going...'meh'...after a while, these definitely give a spark of hope for a raptor companion I can hold on to.
