Mechanical pets would require the hunter to be an engineer.

Kunchong are a popular one. I also mentioned armadillos (why no armadillo love?!), maggots, and those ooky bears that are infested with spider eggs. My Forsaken hunter's motif is that she tames and makes homes for diseased, rotting, or otherwise gross creatures... so more maggots and ooky bears are right up her alley.

So far it seems the 3 most wanted are Kuchong, frogs and my personal favorite Skyscreamer/Pterrordax

Suggestion; new taming scrolls

Scroll of mechanized companion; created by engineers. Allows hunters to 'tame' constructs. Gnome and dwarf hunters innately learn this spell.

Scroll of aberration; created by alchemy; allows hunter to tame aberrations which include oozee. Goblin and undead hunters innately learn this spell.

dragonkin and the like. mostly like the whelps and sprite darters. kunchong, seems like a good fit for a new silithid. shoveltusks and yaks, maybe for goat family. i have to say i really like the spider/spider-demon model from the demon hunter starting area. looks like an armored spider. i think that would be awesome for the spider lovers.

I just remembered Tortos. Would like to see him tamable.

I need a Fire equivalent of Gara. and a Fox that is also Fire. (Purely for my own selfish RP reasons)

I've already got a big green one of those.

As far as hippogryphs go, lorewise they're meant to be sentient creatures like dragons, so I doubt we'll see them tameable (would prefer they weren't, tbh). But the dread ravens... yes please.

Eleks/Mammoths would be my top choice,followed by pterodaxes.

Did anyone mention Thok and Oondasta? Lol.. I still want to tame them.. Maybe farfetched

Concerning the raid boss aspect, its no more farfetched than Chromaggus or Chimaeron. They are armored which muddles the water a little.

However I believe Thok/Oondasta (and let me throw in Tortos) would make fine entries!

May I humbly request Ji-kun? She's got my favorite color set of the thunder-birds.

As long as I get my beloved Pterrordaxes/Skyscreamers, I'll be fine.

I wouldn't be opposed to to some more boss pets, though, like Thok and Tortos.

Being colour-blind, I'd really like to see some beasts with more "vibrant" colours and contrasts.
I can barely see red and green.. so any creature that has both those colours on it is just a muddy "bleh" to me. On the other hand, bright blues and yellows are shockingly vibrant to me.
Anything with strong edge highlights (like white outlines) gets added points from me.

I wish I could feel enthused by so many of the obviously passionate suggestions being made in this thread. I wish I could appreciate the colours. Sadly, most (I say "most" and not "all") of the creatures thus far listed here are just muddy blurs to me. I can see the shape, but the colour is entirely nondescript.
