I found the new yellow/red/purple hyenas to be very... striking out in the wild. Dare I say they looked out of place, the colors made them look almost cartoony to me. The black and orange and white fit better to me. I got a couple screenshots to illustrate this, I'll try to upload this evening.

Also I did notice the Fire Roc fire is having a hard time adjusting to his new skin, seeing all the fire left his wings and bundled up on his face.

I went through the eleventy bazillion screenshots I've taken so far and tried to break them down into 3 categories: tameable beasts, untameable beasts, and everything else. I dumped a bunch of that latter category into an album on imgur:

There's nothing spoilery in there. It's primarily scenery, though there are a few other bits as well.

Out of curiosity, how are folks getting to Kalimdor and EK in alpha? I've not found an obvious way yet, though most of my time has been just running around checking out every beast I come across in the new zones.

There is a portal back in the main faction hub that goes back to EK and Kalimdor. The Horde has a whole room filled with portals just across from where you choose where you want to quest.

This is a Barbthorn Drone, which uses the yellow bee variant :)

Likewise! I'm very glad that Blizz gave them an entirely new set of animations rather than using those of the wasp :)

Figures it'd be somewhere obvious. I was so eager to go out and look at beasts and try hunter'ing that I prolly ran right past it.

Same! I wish his right leg's animation wasn't broken, though.

That leg has been broken on the eagle model since BC and it's always bothered me. T_T I wish they'd go in and tweak it, I understand skeletons and animations take a lot of time but surely it wouldn't be as difficult to fix one small area of a model?

Oh yeah, I know that it has been broken for a long time, I just wish they would fix it. It's just a small area, like you said :\

It's a beautiful skin though, I'm still hoping to find the new black one somewhere too.

There are tons of them in Drustvar, and I believe a few tamable ones. The list that I made has them included in it :)

Oh good! I haven't ventured into the Alliance areas yet, I'll go check that out today.
