there used to be color changing beasts and there is madexx and portent, so the random skin part is doable. i like ur idea. maybe have a scenario open up after u find items around the world like a puzzle, or world item drops similar to gara.

or maybe a scroll u can apply to ur pet like the certificate of ownership, or maybe a special boss loot like a cosmetic u can apply to ur pet, lets say vultros as an example as an extra mini boss in deadmines that can drop you a random skin cosmetic.

Or maybe the Blizz designers could, you know, go out of their way to stick to the original colours/effects as much as possible instead of making drastic changes.

I love the "models".
I don't like the new "colours".

Making new models doesn't preclude sticking as close as humanly possible to the original colours.

As I've said before, I'm upset that two of my favourite pets are so drastically changed that I won't recognize them anymore.

Agreed, Sukurachi. The best thing for Blizz to do would be to make the colors of the new models much more like the originals. Whether or not that'll actually happen is yet to be seen.

yeah, i would love to see the colors getting fixed first, but if not, i was just thinking of fun ways for other options and i was just picking up on xotas comment. they fixed rak shiri, im sure they will fix the off colors on the replacements too
