When you reach rank 50, you automatically Prestige. So basically yes, you heave to reach Prestige 2 in order to get the first tint of the Prestige appearances

If any of your toons get the free daily world quest complete, you can invest them in warden towers, especially on bonus honor rewards (and if you’re into transmog, ones that give armour you don’t know, or those pvp gear tokens ). It all adds up over time, without much extra effort.

Don't forget you can get a cool mount from doing I think it's 30 of each of the 500 honour WCs too!

Yeah, it's one of the best looking wolf mounts in my opinion, and that's largely where my honor came from this xpac since I don't generally do much PvP otherwise. Glad to know it's all gone toward a goal and maybe I'll feel more motivated to work toward those unicorn mounts now.

I've got 3 of the unicorns so far and while it takes time it's not that hard to farm honour in this expack. All I do is the daily 300 H WCs and as many of the 500 H WCs as I can and take advantage of the pvp weeks! Always do the weekly quest when that week comes around (you get 1k H!)

yeah when I found out about that I started doing those but two come up so rarely for some reason (murlocs and the black rook rumble) that's pretty much where all of Castile's honour came from For Alliance its a black horse but its armour is really badass - I'll have to check out the Horde equivalent!

It's pretty neat. They both are great mounts imo, best bit? you get both!

Also do not forget to go buy a guild Battle Standard, which gives you I think 10 or 15% extra honor when used.
And if you have a toon with the "free WQ" ability, putting down the Battle Standard just before using your item WILL give you the bonus honor.

I hate PvP, and from only doing towers and once single daily 500 honor "free WQ" I am past Prestige 4 now and have my 1st unicorn mount, as well as the puppy mount for the 20x4 battlegrounds achievement.

I'm working on getting towers done on as many toons as I can now, since they will merge all that honor. It MIGHT get me to the next unicorn mount.

I'm working my butt off trying to get a "cumulative" level 9 prestige on my toons.
I'm on the verge. I have one toon about to hit P5, another about to hit P2 (total of P7, in theory), then 4 more toons working their way slowly up through P1 (so a cumulative of, at 1/2 P for prestige 1, 2 more prestige levels).

I should, within another few days, have my total of 9. I HOPE they don't suddenly change it around.

It seems that they have changed how it all works. There will be hundreds of Honor Levels in BfA (I believe 500 max). If you are at Prestige 25 in Legion, you will be no where close to Honor Level 500.

Basically, Blizz has changed it and it won't work as we originally believed.

do they actually SAY anywhere how it will work? how much honor will be required for the present mounts, how that will translate to the "new" system?

I'm starting to get frustrated with the Warden's Towers.. these days there are always über-geared PvP players working on that PvP faction (I forget the name) where they can kill players of either faction. It makes the warden towers incredibly frustrating. esp some a**holes wait until you're doing the final commander on top of the tower to kill you (and waste the banner you put down)

Odd you have to be honour level 125 to get the Prestigious Forest Courser but I already have that. I'd assume I'd be that level? Guess I'll have to wait and see.

According to that rundown (and another that is linked on one of those pages), I shouldn't have to worry... my prestige adding up to 9 now SHOULD get me the mount that is awarded at prestige 9, and maybe with a bit left over.

If you've already earned the reward, you'll get to keep it, even if you aren't at the new Honor Level that the reward is given at.
