Day 16 of Mermay is the Red lionfish! They are an invasive spieces in the Americas where they are promoted to eat them!

The poison is all in the spines on the fins. So if you cut them off you have a good eating fish! they are also feeding them to the local sharks so they get a taste for them. which is cool.

Day 17 of Mermay is the Blue Maomao! A NZ classic really. I went to Goat island (a marine reserve near Auckland) as a kid and these guys are so cool to see in the wild man.

Day 19 of Mermay is the Pacific viperfish! They are considered an example of deep-sea gigantism. Because that's what you want to see in the deep teeth.

Day 21 of Mermay is the Zebra moray! I don't see why a eel can't like tea. I will 100% say Australia is great for fish ideas.
Oh and this is one I did a few months back. I wanted to see what a mermaid based on a prawn/shrimp would look like!
