I remember back in early Shadowlands how someone got their noodles early thanks to the Necrolords and that one bugged item. We were all secretly salty back then lol. I'm glad that we finally have access to the classic designs though; it's been long overdue! Same goes for the windsteeds, because my GOD those have been teased to us so many times. Here's hoping our lurking dev can slip the two missing colors onto the windsteeds though.

@Wain Happy to help!
If the remaining two Windsteed looks are added in, they'll have to be on new mobs or they'll have the change the name of the two windsteeds that are in the game, since their names are directly tied to the color (Crimson and Jade-Scaled).

I started to wonder if the other colours are tied to crazy levels of secret puzzles in the housing estates or something. But I'm 90% sure I'm being paranoid now.

Renaming the windsteeds would be simple. They did that to our bird horses in Shadowlands after all; they were named Windsteed before getting changed lol.
Yeah Wain, you're a wee paranoid lol. There's a lot of hidden things, but I'm sure we would've found a hidden pet if there was one. No community is as crazy about pixels as the hunter community, after all.

I personally think that they have either been missed (spawns in a very, very specific spot in Pandaria that you can easily miss flying over), requires a special trigger, or requires being in a specific state to see them (like using that one item in Ohn'Ahran Plains to see that Spirit Beast). That, or for some reason they weren't added in, even though they are in the database.

It is still possible that they are hidden and haven't been found. 11.2.7 hasn't gotten a lot of attention outside of housing from the community as a whole, and only a couple, including myself, have spent time actually trying to find something. There hasn't been a large group of people looking, so it could've been missed.
That being said, I do think that it would be rather odd if the remaining two Windsteeds spawn on Pandaria, when the two that we know of, plus the Cloud Serpents, spawn on the Wandering Isle.

Very likely that they were forgotten, yeah. Lots of NPCs end up that way, sadly. Then again, those test NPCs are still out in the wild as of earlier this morning, so I don't think fiddling with some inconsequential NPCs is really much of a priority unless we raise awareness. Even then, we don't have a pocket Muffinus anymore, so we'll be lucky if we do see those forgotten NPCs. Best we can do is politely continue raising awareness through showing interest and pray something comes of it.

Can confirm that you can go to the pandaren heritage quest version of the Wandering Isle on live, so no worries there. Still only the jade and crimson windsteeds though lol.

I got myself a crimson windsteed, but I’ll replace it with a white one in a heartbeat if it would exist in game. It’s exciting to have the colorful cloud serpents in game, I’m loyal to my ivory boi, but I’m happy for others to tame them, the wait for a windsteed is finally over. Stag family now has two kirins at last

I don't know if anyone has seen this but
Blight Hounds are now accessible to Alliance without Race Changing though the Elf Lorewalking.

That is incredible news. Kinda sucks since I did a race change for it in the past, but good to know nobody else needs to make that mistake now lol

Is this the golden horse you were looking for? I only found one friendly on the island...

That one is known about. It does use the golden look for Windsteeds, but since it is friendly it cannot be tamed. Thank you for keeping an eye out, though

Oh wow! That's fantastic! Which lorewalking scenario offers this? I'll update it asap.

It would be the Void Elf/Blood Elf one
