Humm... let's see if I can remember all the meanings behind them...
Kael'Thas:
Eloin - Name of a hind in a book I read. Night elves are rather graceful like a deer... and that's pretty much the only reason I could've picked it besides the fact I simply liked the name.

Kamalia - I made a typo off of "Kamaria", which means "Like the moon". She's a draenei with white skin, so the etheral glowing she always seems to have coming off of her certainly made her look like a small, spacegoat-shaped moon.
Clover - The name of my tauren druid. I wanted something simple and had to do with nature. Very much to my surprise the name wasn't taken!
Nesingwary:
Tyrii - I was looking for an orcish-sounding name. I can't quite recall what it means, though... I think it was something like "Battle maiden".
Rickeymortis - I saw the name on a Halloween tombstone decoration and just had to make an undead with that name. x)
Glixx - Just a Goblin sounding name.
Serafine - I wanted an elegant and slightly old-fashioned name for my female worgen.
Shifthapens - Worgen. I don't think I need to explain any farther. Though this character name might go to my dad if he can't find a name he likes for his own worgen.
Bubblgum - Troll druid. Their gaudy animal form colours reminded me of the shades bubblegum can come in.

Orchimedes- named after Archimedes (Great name for a goblin engineer) -Orc Hunter
Morderstier- Means "killer bull" in German. -Tauren Druid
Garyx: not sure where I got this one from. -Undead Rogue
Akimitsu: Means "autumn light" in Japanese. -Undead Warlock
Takahiro: Means "noble" in Japanese. -Troll Warrior
A few others I have used
Turgus: The name of my hunter before I race changed him from a troll.
Moostapha: Tauren Druid (a name holder)
Cowmooflage: Tauren Hunter (just a name holder)
I am still trying to get a good name for my goblin hunter, but have not come up with one that is not already taken

It just seems like a goblin-like name to me.

I love this name! It reminds me of an old animated movie I used to watch as a child called "Gay Purr-ee". One of the main characters was a female cat named Mewsette.

Hunter:
Alastiel -
Maiden of Marble (Sindarin)
Druid:
Tinweriel -
Lady Crowned with Stars (Quenya)
These are my two Nelfs, and for them I used "real" elvish. Or at least as real as it gets, which in my opinion means
Tolkien's languages.
Shaman:
Peyote -
The Divine Cactus!
I can't quite say how I came to think of it, but I named my Draenei Shaman after a
hallucinogenic cactus that has been used for a very long time for meditative purposes, "speaking with spirits", other mysterious shaman-like things.
Warlock:
Laufeia -
Leaf Island
She is named after the
mother of Loki, the main troublemaker in Norse mythology. The details are unclear, but she is either a giantess or a goddess. Laufeia is also the genus of the
Salticidae family of spiders. So, doubly scary name (though I like spiders myself). By association, I thought it would work well on a warlock, even though the name itself has a rather tame meaning. This character is human at the moment. Will be turned into Worgen.

My male goblin hunter will be an engineer with a love of gold
(Like all goblins I imagine.)
So I reserved the name of the Japanese God of Wealth, Daikoku.
I might even use money as a theme for the name of his pets, like mon or yen.
I am also thinking that I will choose green and gold color pets too.
The more I look at the name and the theme he would have, the more it grows on me.

I play on a RP server, and prefer real names over joke-names or descriptions. I also tend to have an army of alts, which has confused guild mates and friends in the past, they found it hard to keep track of who my characters were. (At one stage my alts made up a third of the guild I was in

)
Having so many alts also made it hard to come up with names, until I came up with a sytem in LOTRO that solved all those problems at once, and i've been using that in games eversince.
What I do, is I always start a character name with Mir- and then add a suffix that is suitable for the race. this led to Mirawen, Miradriel and Mirlindriel for elves, Miradora and Mirabella for halflings, Mirianna, Mirelda, Mirlena and Mirabeth for humans, and so on.
I found that these names are hardly ever taken, and easy to slightly change if they are. I look at NPC names and names in other languages to come up with race appropriate names as well, all I do is adapt them to start with Mir.
The advantage of this is that people in game simply call me Mir no matter which character I'm on, and if a new lowbie with a mir- name pops up in the guild, it is generally assumed it's me
It's a system others can easily use too, just use a prefix you like and find suffixes that sound good to you.
(Edit: I do still have some old characters that don't go by this system, like my hunter Brinne. It seems odd to me now not to use Mir-, I tend to indentify with Mir- characters a lot more.)

In Cairne, my retired Dwarf Hunter is named
Kitwalker, who is a famous comics hunter of outlaws, and his pet is a wolf named
Devil. I like to think of him living in the wilds of Stranglethorn Vale, stalking evil creatures and defending the helpless, while leaving a skull mark on all evil creatures he defeated.

Oh man. I watched the same movie like 20 times as a child. I guess it was stuck in the back of my mind somewhere laying dormant because I didn't even think about it when I named her that.
