No tbh if they intended for it to never be tamed ever, I doubt they would have given an NPC, a black warpstalker. Model =/= skin, just because a specific mob is borked, doesn't mean the specific skin should be retired. Gezzarak could be remade tameable as they fixed her. OR, alternatively, she could be somewhere in Cata. The skin, not the mob.

Who knows about Hive Queen? She shares model with a raid boss and doesn't really shrink much so... perhaps it's the same, they didn't mean for her to be tameable? Only Blizz knows. Either way, as Kalli said, she'll be tameable in Cata, so we can rejoice.

Tbh I think it had to do with retiring the oracle quest mobs. Not just the wasp herself. IE banhammer all specific quest mobs for Oracle/Frenzies. And specific as in the queen and the three ghosts.

and remember the other wasp model doesn't shrink much either :p

Aww...thanks for checking up on that though pent. You never know, the whole 'pet pass' has yet to be done, so we could still luck out at the end. *crosses fingers*

Tamed my original Clutchmother yesterday, very easy to find (I was lucky, found also Mazzranache a few minutes before)
