I was thinking of that picture when I first read this thread SB!

Having gone out there and done the questlines and tamed Kitty...I dunno. We may get to keep this one. It's a quest mob, just like Echeyakee or Ishamuhale. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be tamable on live once Cataclysm goes.

And on a side note...gods, but that's a sad set of quests. Not sad as in poorly implemented or itemized...just...sad.

Squeeeee! I've wanted this kitty since I first did the Felwood quests. Took screenshots and everything of my temporary pet. I wished I could have made him tamable, and it looks like Blizzard just might make my wish come true! ^^

The quest that involves this cat is a completely different one than the one on Live right now... totally different NPC you get it from. I believe the NPC you can get the new quest from is actually neutral also, so either faction can do it.

Not sure if the cat spawns for this specific quest or not because I didn't find it til I had the quest, and I didn't search for it beforehand... I do have another hunter on the beta I can try this on if someone else doesn't look before I get around to it.

I've wanted one of these for my Orc hunter since I first saw them. This is easily going to be my first "New tame" when Cat goes live.

Nice that they finally added them to the tamable list though. ^^

But don't think I'll be getting one myself. If it was exclusive to those who hadn't done the quest yet or something, I might, but have a feeling there'll be tons of them.

That's because it's Battletiger! Way tougher than just Battle-cat...

I didn't pick up the quest to go look and it was definitely already there. I tamed it and within maybe 2-3 mins it had respawned. At least being a quest mob it has a fast respawn timer.

I don't think anyone has posted a map of the exact location. It's at some white ruins between Bloodvenom Post to the north and Jaedenar to the south. It's not at the moonwell where you place the kitten in the original (live) quest. The map is here:

I'm so happy to hear that! And thanks for the screeny of the location. I really don't like questing and wasn't looking forward to having to quest for this mob, so \o/

And there will be another Cringer added to the list.

Omg I must have one and name him Colorblind. Its hilariously adorable and stands out! Yay!
