Look at a before and after pic of Bill Clinton or George W Bush. They physically aged about 20 years during their 8 year presidency.
You know, that's kinda what I figured. On top of that, he "retired" to get a job as the one person in all of Azeroth who keeps the Maelstrom open and enables us to go fix the earth pillar and prevent the end of the world. A tad stressful, I'd imagine.

I suppose but we dont get longer jaws in aging. We just get wrinkles. I'd be okay if they actually did it a little more realistically...and fixed his tusks.

I don't think his jaw is that much longer. I think most of it is the flesh 'sagging' a bit with age (which does happen in humans too) and the fact his beard is now only on his chin, giving an illusion that his jaw is longer and narrower.

People keep complaining about the tusks. People's teeth can wear down. I'm sure tusks are the same. And yes as pointed out. Our presidents seem to age right before our eyes. And they don't have the Vice President's pulling two handed axes on them and trying to kill them. Or the PM Of Brittan trying to kill them with a sword.

He just looks older. Yes the tusks are smaller. Maybe they wore down or the magic flowing through him aged him. His hair is grayer. And he's lived a life of stress, and battle since birth. If anything it looks like they've humanized him a little. Meeting in the middle between full orc (Gorrash) and human. (( Not saying he's a half breed. Just saying the higher polygon count face looks more humanish))

And yes the RPG has that chart that gives the average age but if you check the foot notes one of them still signifies that Orc's normal life spans are less than humans. Not more.

So...*shrugs* Hard to say. I'm sure some will like the new Thrall. Some will hate it. It's hard to get a universally loved one (( like Sylvanas )).

As a side note. I play 90% Horde.. and any alliance Raid that wants to take on Gorrash. I'll walk you through org and hold the door open for you.

*nods* All reasons why I think it suits him perfectly. :)

Agreed as well.

Honestly, I like the new model. It feels much more "alive" and looks more expressive. It's a unique model for him, which I like. It looks much more detailed and like they put a lot of work into it. Personally, I think it suits him better than the generic, gape-mouthed Orc myself.

I wish they would give the player models this much love myself, but that's another story!

I have to say though, comparing him and Garrosh... it REALLY looks even more like there's some Ogre blood somewhere in Garrosh's family tree.

For everyone saying "Well he's done stressful stuff!"

My dad's stressed everyday. He's almost 60 years old. I will tell you his face did not get longer. He's still quite handsome for his age.

So thats makes an arguement involving stress pretty null and void. I work with very stressed people all the time and see them come and go. NONE of them have such a long face like a cartoon doing a facepalm.

My dad still has most of his teeth and they look the same as I remember them 15 years ago. So his tusks being 'worn down' is another null and void argument unless someone slammed his face into a rock and no one told me.

Orcs aren't humans though, and may physically age differently.

And lets face it, With Garrosh, Thrall has been doing a lot of facepalmin, and probably a lot of teethgrinding :P

I dunno. People will get over it eventually

Not really. He's just told him "ENOUGH!" really.

Well everyone else is using human statistics so I'm going to use the exact same examples to support that his model is way off.

Also there's the fact Thrall is only in his late 20s - early 30s. No one I know at that age looks like that.

He reminds me of The Dude from The Big Lebowski, with those sandals and general disheveled look.

But hey, The Dude abides, and I take comfort in that.
