Yes, I was hoping we'd be able to change the human look seperately, but it seems to be tied to the worgen look ;(
I thought that human bubbble in the bottom would give seperate options but in the video it all seems tied together.

I also hope they'll give us at least a few non-snarly faces, while I'd like my character to look fierce in battle I'd prefer it if in her normal state she could have a more neutral expression.

I bet they'll show a new model/skin next beta patch push. Let's hope at least.

Now, this is... um.... strange.
I had high hopes for the female Worgen.

Well, if she keeps this look, it looks like I may actually end up dual-boxing, RPing, a gay male Worgen couple when Cata comes out!!!!

Which goes contrary to what I normally do with my pair of Alliance toons.

While I like the new look better than the oversexed yiffer one, NOTHING will ever come close to the perfection that is female Orcs.

We have the best body type, and we look the best in armor.

Again, this is nowhere near the final model, so don't get too upset yet guys. This is just a WIP sort of placeholder model in the game right now. It looks no better than when Worgen male's first revamp model went into the beta for the first time (and yes, he did look AWFUL as well). Players on beta have been demanding to see even unfinished worgen female, and well, this is what happens.

This model is clearly not done. It's using a modified Draenei skeleton, which is why it has overly stretched eyes, ears that don't actually attach to the head, the belly, the chest, and the square butt. It's a draenei skeleton with a snout and no tail essentially. It's still got a very long way to go. The only thing don on this model is probably the skin textures, as some of them look nice if you just look at the skin.

So if you like Worgen female with the O.O eyes, don't get attached and if you hate this model, don't be sad; this is a huge WIP.

I seem to be the only one who actually likes this model. Not the perfect one, but I like it. And it's definately better then the previous implementation. And I do like the eyes, so vicious.

I imagine that since there are no other face structures to choose from (when changing face, only the markings change), that this form is still well in progress. Just like how the male worgen took a few tries (and still requires tweaking), the female will be the same. I do like the feral aggression in her, but the skull does narrow too drastically, as many of you had said; a little chihuahua-like (I do love chihuahuas, mind you, but they definitely are not wolves, haha).

The goblin males deserve a little attention as well. The females, however, are perfect.

I think the major thing that's throwing me off on the lady here is those DAMNED EYES! Good lord what did they do? Stick a socket up her bum and make them go 0.0 or something?

It's a slight step in the right direction, I personally enjoy big snarly critters towards something that cute and cuddly. Though the males look FAR better than the females currently, they need to work on that face a bit more. And work on those eyes >.O;;;;

Erm... I don't like the eternal snarl... if they changed the mouth a bit, I could live with this version, honestly.

Yeah. No, I don't like these models at all, but I just keep holding on to the fact that the male worgens got a serious makeover before they were finalized. Also, what will happen to those sweet, sweet hairstyles that I saw an alpha video of? I was holding out for some of those on my dwarf hunter! T^T I will be ever so sad should they disappear.

Nice, she looks like she means business! I like it. She has a nice mother wolf look that says "If you dare touch my pups I will eat your heart".

I rotated the model around, and it looks like there are deformations in a couple of places (the ears are mismatched too, one of them tends to be bent). I'm wondering if the skin is being stretched in wierd places because it's not meant for the model it's currently on. If you look at the snarl, it seems un-aligned to the actual mouth area, at least to me.

Also, if you look at the skin just by itself, it really doesn't seem to match what we're seeing on the model...



Perhaps we're seeing the new skin on the old model, and that's making it look kind of distorted? Because for instance, notice the difference between the new texture and old texture's muzzle (and the eyes) -- I think the new one is being stretched in ways it wasn't meant to be.

It matches my Varali perfectly - she's naturally wildly feral, and from Northrend (Garwhal). I love it.

I just noticed that. It IS a draenei female with a muzzle attached.
