Abandon =/= Dismiss

Abandon, would be releasing the current pet and never seeing it again

Dismiss, would be putting the pet away to call him out later on.

oh gotcha i guess you dont have to abandon pets anymore for it to work, just the lil dismiss button

So does anyone know the respawn timer on this guy?

Edit: I saw him killed at 7:24PM server time.

Still hasn't respawned after 16 hours.

Well I am not sure if its a set in stone thing, but I have had him spawn at 1 am last night, then today at 1 pm. so roughly 12 hours.

Now if I could just find him again and not have him killed while I am taming, I would be happy.

Griefing on a PvE server? I would report that... even if nothing can be done about it I would still talk to a GM...

Who knows... you might get an awesome GM.

I've had a character parked at each spawn location, since he was killed. Still hasn't spawned coming up to the 17th hour.

I would love to report the persons that did it.. but it was a different person each time. So I am not sure that would constitute harrassment =/

The first one from 3 days ago hasn't been on since, the one from last night is out in SP, and the last one, the rogue is in ICC atm >< Yes, it has been a total of three times now.

/grumble, but on another note, a hunter who I am helping catch loque (I got her Aotona yesterday) has been looking for 5 days straight now... not sure whats worse, not seeing it, or having it killed under you.


One last thing to, I have noticed that KK has the 4 paths and he will spawn at either starting point at the paths.

Although, I can't say for sure at the eastern path, just the other three.

Camped for 17 hours straight. Given up, not even Krush is worth this =/

EDIT: Well, I couldn't just give up, just kept thinking "We'll I've come this far it must be soon!" and sure enough he spawned after 17 hours and 43 minutes. I am never going to Sholazar again.

Day 11 or so for me... I have only been on TWICE when he has spawned and I was no where near him...

Offering Saronite Ores as a reward isn't helping... because evidently NO ONE CARES.

Tamed Krush about 15min ago.... finally.

400 ore lighter and a big green devilsar heavier.

You guys are mad lucky. I've been at it about 4 days now and no luck. Haven't even seen him, or his corpse, or word of him being spawned, or anything.

Edit: By the way does anybody know his actual spawn points? NPCscan is giving me his pathing areas but not the actual spawn locations.

If someone kills, fears and just about generally destroys whatever you were doing with a mob you tagged, then yes it is griefing, because if you have Krush tagged, there is no way they are going to get the loot, let alone the achievement.

So report them.


on a side note I really don't support the pay 4 tame sort of deals, this is what started up alot of the griefing before and I don't want to see a return of it

He actually can spawn at most of the same places where Loque does. Only the North one by the white eagle on the nest seems to be exempt. He paths more than Loque does though. I still am hunting Loque and have yet to ever see him up.

I am not 100% sure, but I think Krush can spawn anywhere along the paths that NPCScan shows.
I know of two exact spawn points, but that doesn't mean he'll always spawn there at those locations within that path.

Seen him spawn in the SE part of the map right where Loque spawns near the 6 white gorillas ... right beside the wasp hive.
And when I tamed mine the other hunter who held him for me said he spawned near the giant rock where that one named Rhino paths over by the Glimmering Pillar.

Everyone who wants KK should be able to get him without being harrassed by other players... I can understand if people are trying to find him for the achievement, but Pet > Achievement, IMO. I see no reason asking for a few more pairs of eyes to help you look and then compensating the one who finds him for you with a reward. I wouldn't have my KK without doing it this way.

The other hunter was only L.77 and he asked if the 400 Saronite ore sold for much... I told him if he could to sit on it til about a week after Cataclysm came out and the price should skyrocket, but he could probably get around 350-400g right now if he AH it. I told him if he needed gold I could pay him 295g, but I couldn't give him anymore because I didn't have anymore... (sent most of my gold to my DK before I switched servers with him... now I wish I had him back on my server because I am in a good guild. ) He was VERY happy with the reward and almost left after me only giving him 6 stacks... he didn't realize he still had 14 stacks more coming.

BTW... KK is the only rare I have EVER offered an award in help finding... and actually paying the reward. The only other pet I have offered an award for is Aotona and that was after 3-4 weeks of circling... and then on week 7 I found the bird myself.

I want to name KK something cool, and I want to purposely misspell it just to keep it going with the spelling scheme, but i don't want people to think I am an idiot. I thought about Elvis... but I really don't care for Elvis... I wonder if BruceCampbell is allowed or maybe just Bruce.... or MrCampbell... Hail to the King, Baby. (No... I will not name him Duke Nuke'm). Really wanted KingLush, but someone (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) else already thought of that too.

Update: Five days, no King Krush, but I randomly stumbled upon and tamed Aotona. That's really cool, but Krush still remains the big prize.

I found and tamed Krush just after the big 4.0.1 patch, at about 2 am server. Dumb luck, really. I was hunting for Loque and Krush scared the daylights out of me. I had flashbacks of Un'Goro and King Mosh as this great big green dino proceeded to catch me unaware and thrash me into the dirt. I was sure someone else was going to grab him as I ran back. But now he's one of my favorite pets, and I'm sure you'll find him.

Lol, this is the first time I have offered a reward on a successful tame myself. 2k gold and a raptor mini pet on completion of the tame. Always make sure you put that in and don't pay till after. I have seen people pay it for loque then the person who got paid killed it. Not very nice.

On the brighter side, I have managed to get Aotona adopted 4 times, and Loque once. Makes me happy helping others even tho my luck is poo. -_-

Yeah, I got King Krush finally. Named him "CleverGirl" :p

I always liked giving my pets jokey names, I have a spider named MorganWebb, an oil wolf named GulfOfMexico, a core hound named SiameseTwins, a hyena named WhoopiGoldberg (you know, The Lion King :p), a white moth named CocaineBug... the list goes on and on :p
