;^; Logged in today to see Skoll's corpse right under me. But later in the evening, managed to cheer someone up at least. :3
The first hunter I whispered had a full stable, but he brought his mate to tame him instead. :3 I wish him luck for the next spawn!

I decided to do a last minute check for beasties before the server went down. We were on a countdown from 15.
I was pretty upset when I logged in to see Skoll's corpse earlier today, so I when I saw the yellow mark on the map I thought it was some other hunter playing mean tricks on me.
But, 'lo and behold, it was the real thing!


After a bit of messing about (I almost messed up the tame with a misplaced trap, I'm really very sorry about that >.< ), we managed to contact a friend, and I am absolutely thrilled he got Skoll tamed, because I know he's been after the blue menace for absolutely ages. <3

There is only 2 spawn points of Loque I haven't been able to confirm. The one left of the bones of Nozronn and the one near Shango. Anyone seen him near these two points? o.o
And drat logged in to see dead Krush. ;^;

My BE hunter (Who had unceremoniously fallen off her mount, bounced off that cliff hill dent and all but landed on Loque) saw him near Shango/chillin' wit the dreadsabers.

Hehe, I actually got a rare pet for myself this time. Had parked my main hunter in Netherstorm and logged my baby hunter to keep leveling her.
My computer died, as it always does at least once a day, so when I got online again I decided to see if Nuramoc was up. I flew a little, and then NPCscan goes off, but I could'nt see him anywhere and starts thinking that it was just another hunter playing around.

I flew back the way I came from, and right before I reached the Arklon Ruins I see him. Flying through him to get aggro and pulling him down, I start the tame.
Back when my hunter was still fresh I had decided I wanted this guy, and when I was 69 I saw him and thought he was a dragon xD

So finally I have this guy ^^

Now, only Krush to go..

I can confirm the point west of the bones of Nozronn.

Someone killed Loque there the day I tamed Krush.

I can confirm left of the bones of Nozronn. It's across the path, in the exact spot NPCscan points out. I've seen Loque there once, long ago while leveling my priest. And I just tamed him tonight in that very same location!

Familiar faces! I'm trying to sort out my sleeping pattern, and it's being rewarded. XD

I was going from Grizzly Hills to Storm Peaks, and flying over Zul'drak as I did so. My NPC scan pinged. Of course, it was Gondria: the spirit beast I already have. I did a quick /who hunter 77-80, poked one, who went and got respecced so he could tame himself a Gondria. No spirit bear, no spirit wolf... but bringing another Beast Master into the fold was worth it enough for me.

I had to register just to respond to this thread. Makes me feel real good reading about this thread, while I farm the basin and especially hopeful for my loque and King Krush future pets. So thank you guys for the nice stories.

I'm glad to hear not all opposite faction feel obligated to be so rude to fellow hunters. Gondria is the pet I'm dying for, but even if I find her one day and there's a horde hunter there first, I'm not interrupting. That's just immature and rude. Don't care what faction you are, all of us hunters understand just how frustrating it is to get the rares.

I've been camping Arcturis for most of the day now with no luck. Had many hunters come by, both horde and alliance. Only had 1 who seemed intent on sitting there to steal him from me. Any other hunter who has come bye has wished me luck, or horde have simply went on merry way. This one however sat there for a few hours /laughing at me. Lucky for me I was the more patient of the two of us, and here I still sit.

I'm sorry, but regardless of faction hunters should all have a respect for just how long some of us have been sitting here waiting for these rares to pop up. I'll never kill a rare, and I'll never steal one from another hunter. Wish everyone else had the same mentality.

I've been looking for Spirit Beasts since the increased stable slot change and stumbled across Gondria and Skoll so far.

I found Loque again, but it's been a while now.
I checked my friends list and /w one of them, and he came as fast as he could ^^
My friends list consists of mostly hunters. xD

I agree with you. I wouldn't have interrupted a tame either if I saw someone midtame. Instead I would have cheered them on ^^
Sadly there will always be those who will steal the tames of other hunters, regardless of class and faction. Although I kinda think that a hunter killing a rare would be worse than any other class, since the should know how hard they are to get.

ZOMG, after almost a week, and a couple nights staying up to about 6 am, King Krush finally spawned for me, while I was eating and watching tv. My PC screams at me and scares the shit out of me, but behold I see King Krush walking around, and finally get to tame him.. I am so excited. Thank you guys for the awesome stories that kept my morale up. WOOT!

The whole "Kill a rare from under a tame, if stolen from you" Is a weird conflict in my mind. It seems only fair that the pet that was rightfully claimed by you, thus being tamed, getting stolen from you should resort in the other hunter getting theirs stolen/taken as well, an eye for an eye.

However, thinking about it more closely, I'd rather just let them get the tame. It overall means one less hunter looking for the same rare you are, and eases competition slightly.
