Eeeeeeeeeeee!

Looks like my Hullabaloo is going to molt. Not sure which color, but we'll see!

I went out on the beta today and tamed both the white and black versions. I initially thought I'd like black more than white, but in-game the opposite occured. The white and purple worm just looks amazing. The black and green worm, while imposing as Rattlebore, just kind of reminds me of an oil slick in game. :-/

Summary:
Ice Heart Jormungar Feeder - now greenish (jormungarlarvagreen)
Ice Heart Jormungar Spawn - now white (jormungarlarvawhite)
Rattlebore - now black (jormungarlarvadark) and tameable
Ravenous Jormungar - now blue (jormungarlarvapale)

Excellent - I always thought it a bit silly they added such a cool new model but only took the trouble to make one of its skins tamable.

white and black one are beautiful! really i'm going to tame both of them calling the white one yin and the black one yang of course I also need to wait for the cataclysum release *curses at deathwing hoping to make him wake up faster*

Either way one will have white, one will have black ^^ I unwisely went over to Rattlebore early...

Haha. I think it's become the term of choice to explain a pet's change in skin in WoW. Well, it's more appropriate than a lot of other terms folks could have come up with. Face off face on? *does circular hand motion over face*

And it's a healthy way to deal with skin changes or the desire for a new color, while retaining the "spirit" of your pet.

So, does anyone know if the IDs are still the same, or do the tamed ones keep their skin come Cata? If they change I'm in for a surprise, since I have no idea which one I tamed

*gigglefit* *contemplates making hubby tame random mobs that are changing just to be in for a surprise too*

I can't wait to see what color my Jormungar will be after the patch, I'm so excited!

Funy thing is, I'll probably be just as attached to him after the patch if he does have a new color. Jormungars molt, who would have guessed? ^_^

YAY! I saw my ghosty worm is alive! thats all I want ^^

As silly as it may sound, the fact that they only used one of the Jormunger skins was personally one of my biggest disappointments (though admittedly there weren't many) with Wrath. I remember when the skins were first leaked, thinking of how awesome all the skins looked...

...And then we only got one of them. But, well, now that doesn't matter anymore! Hurrah!

I can't wait to tame rattlebore. That's the fav of the new skins to me.

like some others have said, the black one isn't as cool in game. more of a dark purple than black.

Not necessarily a bad thing, I was pleasantly surprised when my Black Drake mount was more of a deep reddish-violet than actual black. It matters not, though, the green one is sexy! Having Mortimer as a ghost wormy was neat for a time but he was easy to lose (I don't use name tags). I had been contemplating re-taming him as a regular jormungar but wasn't fond of the skin they use currently. Now I can re-tame him with a skin I love!!!! :3 /happydance
