It does look a bit Tim Burtonish, but it's just an independent design from Threadless, one of my very favourites. He's wearing the Cataclysm bowling shirts they're all wearing around Blizzard at the moment.

For goodness sake people. I have yet to eat tonight... not sure if I can now.

We all thank you, kind sir.

Now...

Where is my Devilsar Spirit Beast and tameable Slime?! (all in due time... I can wait!) ...but not forever...

I guess you can let the others have a hydra too. :P

Out of curiousity... are these guys brothers? http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0272479/

Acidmaw! Nanotrev needs his worm boss...

He seems like a pretty nice guy, and obviously so to listen to us and send the feedback from Wain to his fellow developer friends! =)

Hydras weren't discussed, but from what I heard new pet families are on track, they just didn't have time to do them all by Cata release. So hopefully in one of the patches not too far after (this last part is pure guessing, whether major or minor patch, I don't know).

Unfortunately it's not as simple as just setting them tameable and giving them a family power. If they don't have all the required animations they just look broken. And animations take a lot of time and work. But they do still plan to release new families. I would guess hydras since they've been so high on the popularity lists. I really hope for basilisks since they are one of the most pet-like untameable groups, and have loads of cool colours.

Thank you mr. lurky developer guy!

Now if only the Ghostcrawler pet can be a little less ghosty (like Loque perhaps?), perhaps bring back the proper Grimtotem Spirit Guide and Rak'Shiri can stay Turqouise then all is perfect :D Oh...and 20 more stable slot pliex! I ran out...

want, want want !

uhm.

Thank you Mr. Lurker!!! You have made so many people in the hunter community's year. ^_^
So many wonder full pets and new families, all you guys and gals at Bliz really have gone above and beyond to make this an amazing expansion for both hunters and the "lesser" classes. ;)
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the time and effort you put into listening to us prattle on like a bunch of chipmunks on speed this past while and taking our opinions into honest consideration. :D
*sqwees and glomps Dev again*
Stubbley.....

Now it makes more sense now....

Wain "yeah i just mentioned to Blizz that this mob should have a yellow tint instead of a orange one."

Next post: "Hey look they changed it to be yellow now since I asked them, i'm happy."

INSIDER TRADING!!! YOU SHOULD BE WARCRAFT-ARRESTED!!!

(thats cool though, do you work for Blizz at all? Honestly? The way you posed with that Orc makes me think it wasn't your first time. Smart people can always tell when its not the person's first time)

I don't speak for everyone, but I think I can say besides Cataclysm, this HAS to be the biggest Hunter Christmas present ever. And Christmas is still a month away. Mr. Lurking Developer, you have indeed restored my faith in the development team 1000 fold. I'm not going to lie when I say that I had thought things were starting to look as grim as SWG when the vocal minority took hold and ruined it (yes, I know SWG is a blacklisted name in MMO's, but I had to say it).

When I look at the new pets, I have to say I feel like a TRUE Beast Master with all of these pets. Everything is...for lack of a better word...near perfect. I'm very happy with the play style of hunters, very happy with all the pets we have/are getting. I've been on the PTR and just....am speechless. I can't go anywhere without smiling. And yet having some feeling of sorrow. The world I knew for six years going away. And out of the ashes of a destroyed world, a new one is born.

So again, Mr. Lurking Developer, and I have to also say to you, Wain. Thank you. Thank you 100 times, thank you for all the hard work you've done. Thank you for all that you do and the time you put into it. Maybe this isn't the place to state this, but Mania, I think for all the hard work Wain did, he should be up there with Veph who is also awesomeness herself.

Why ain't I surprised about the fact that a designer, who works on the hunter class, is 'snooping' around in the Petopia froums? ;)

This really makes me feel good as it makes me feel like Blizzard is interested in what we actually want.
Thank you for that!

And when you're going to shake Azeroth to the core, try to not kill to many tamables, OK?

I only wonder why he isn't writing here... Maybe discussing stuff with us or something...

Actually, I do believe he is. From What I understand about Wain's very original post regarding 'noah', He is an active forumite/user, and prefers to keep his forum name/name in general Anonymous.
