Finally got her (yeah its a her!)after 3 days of camping that desert,was afk watching some friends when i heard my npcscanner i allmost fell out my sofa crushing my dog sleeping there,ran to my PC and tagged/tamed her!

Still havent seen a trace after a week camping. i swear he does not exist on my server

Well, I was on the lookout for Mysterious Camel Figurines, but having a look near Madexx's spawn now & then. I'd read something funny/silly (can anyone direct me to the proper thread?) about how whichever Madexx you find dictates your gear's color scheme for the expansion I was hoping for a blue one, as the pics of him looked great, but wasn't even sure if I'd tame. I'm a rare hunter at heart though, so when I saw him pop on NPC Scan I tamed without thinking.

I am actually REALLY SURPRISINGLY enthralled with him--never saw a pic of the green. It matches the tier set, so I guess I'm a PvE whore this expansion! The pic doesn't even do him justice; it's a really pretty mossy green, very glossy/shiny, with a purple-tipped blue stinger and yellowish spots, and darker/duller blue-green tips.



Now I need a name!!

Ugh, still no luck. he really REALLY does not exist on my server lol.

5 days still nothing for me... i fly there all times had friends questing near it checking every 10 minutes still no luck.. Seems like Uldum must be buggy for it to spawn or something..


I been in Uldum for like 12hours a day and stayed up twice for 18 hours... still nothing

I decided I wanted to look for Madexx myself, just to fill up the last three spots in my stables. I only want the red or the green one, so hope one of those spawn on me when it does ^^

Im thinking this will be my next tame.
Do I enter the five different npc numbers into my scan or is there one that works for them all?

You enter all 5 id's, they're each considered a separate mob.

I just found him! He just spawned right infront of my other character I had there. Was flying back and forth, when npcscanner went off.. was the brown one though. The one I wanted the least actually was hoping for any other color but there was no other hunters who could tame him, and I was worried he would get killed. So I tamed him, and the little guy is starting to grow on me. Ill see what happens but hes still pretty cool.
I kinda really want to keep his name but we will see ^.^

After I can figure out a spot in my stable im starting my camp tonight.

Now that I'm camping Jadefang, Madexx will spawn while I'm not there. I just know it.

Grats to all of you!!! Does he only spawn in that little triangle-shaped desert area north of the Ramahken (or whatever it's called), or are there other spawn points? Also didn't know I had to enter each ID separately. I'll get to adding them all, then.

Yeah, as far as i know he only spawns at the desert above Ramkahen, i got my one next to the skeleton at the north east spawn point.

I have been looking for that guy on and off now for a week atleast.. No sightings.. The only thing I know is that someone got the blue one on Monday. I told myself I only wanted the red or the green, but now I am starting to think that I would tame whichever I find first xD

I've seen Madexx three times by now. I told myself I'd tame the blue skin only.

All three times he was green.

The first time I just let him be, as I didn't have time to look for potential owners - I was already being late for work. The second time, I found him an owner. The third time (this morning), he was killed while I was doing the /who hunter search.
My husband is laughing at me and saying I should tame the green one since he's so persistant But I really don't know

The green one is now the one I want the most, it would look so good with my hunter and I love green anyway. I just wish I knew something about the last time he spawned...anything. Right now I have absolutely no clue about his last spawn, therefore I have no idea when I should look. I am planning on pulling an all-nighter tonight in the hopes I'll get him, but I don't know if my eyes will be able to take it. We'll see, I guess.

This is, actually, the first time I'm THAT lucky with a rare. I was obsessed with Loque in the beginning of WOLTK, so as soon as I reached lvl 77 I stopped levelling and started my hunt for him. It took me over 2 weeks of camping and circling, and one lucky day he spawned at the spot I was camping seconds after another hunter passed by. I was prepared to do the same for Karoma, but she turned up on my third night of circling her spawn points in between instancing. So, luck, yes, but not to that extend. Madexx is the third and the last rare I ever wanted.

Anyway, this morning I got up early again to check for him (24 hrs after last morning kill, so I was having some hope). He wasn't there, but Deathwing was. So if Madexx spawned, he must have been incinerated But at least I got my achievement

It would be awesome if we could trade beasts.. Found a blue, and there were no one around so I tamed it. I still want either red or green so will keep looking
But what if we linked up and traded the Madexx'es, like.... Like Pokemon? xD
Also, gratz with the Deathwing achievement

Have anyone gotten any clue as to how often this bugger spawns? I got the blue a little past midnight.. Wondering when I should start looking again ^^
