A devilsaur with a large post-tame size (like 1.5x the size of existing models), coloring similar to Gezarak's and a suitably bombastic name.
I know it would keep me out of raids (and probably towns, too).
Don't care.
Want it.

A white windserpent, maybe add some particle effect, but change it so that it's about as big as a Sholazar hive wasp when tamed.
Bonus points: make it more iridescent, or make it a ghostly spirit beast.

Hmmm I got a few
Sambas model except Black, with green eyes and black mist at his feet, and leaves mist as he walks.
Matsura (Guardian of the mist) found in Deepholme.
Sambas model, except red with fire all around him (not like the pig something more subtle)
Rahjah (Blazing spirit of Hyjal) found in Mount Hyjal
Devilsaur except pure black, with red stripes and white eyes. Red armor on his spines.
King Saoic found in.. lets make it sholazar for all you basin lovers out there

circling the basin!

A spirit beast that looks like a stag. It would partially quell everyone's demand for tamable stags without creating a new family altogether.
He would be the transparent, ghostly blue trademark of spirit beasts, but he would have yellow, glowing eyes. I'd call him Cernunnos (it's the name of the Celtic stag lord). Cernunnos would spawn as a neutral mob among other black stags in the Eastern Plaguelands at level 55.

A big turtle who goes by the name of A'tuin having a swimming animation in the sky near the skywall *so practicly flying but swimming looks*
During the battle to tame it...*nigh to impossible to kill 203M health* it would spawn four ellek guardians throwing frisbees. and yes i would totally tame a SB turtle...and yes i'm a terry pratchet fan. *or but this would be completely idiot...it would keep his elephants at his back ^^ Be the king of the discworld!*

Every time I look at my Nuramoc, I think of a pancake.... with blueberries...
Personally, I would want some sort of fiery beast with no transparency, similar to crackling Skoll.

Assuming I could chose a whole new model I'd ask for a Hyena Spirit Beast, dark brow in color, almost to the point where it might look black. His spots, eyes, teeth and mouth would glow a lot like Loque'nahak's do, except in a shade of orange. Like Gondria, he'd give off an aura, colored black that would trail behind in his footsteps. He'd be called "The Grim" and would stalk around Uldum.
Now, if we're talking a model that's already in the game I'd ask for a tamable Phoenix! Same model as the A'lar mount, of course. I guess you'd have to classify it a Dragonhawk for it to even come close to having Phoenix like abilities. That, or make it another Spirit Beast. This one I would call "Emberfury" with the title <Herald of the Sanguine Dawn> and it would circle around the Isle of Quel'Danas.

Vephriel wrote:If I could select a new colour scheme/appearance I think I would go with a Warp Stalker. Reptiles have always been 'my thing'. They're really a wonderful creature though, a fantastic mix of lizard and dragon and all sorts of reptiles combined in one. I adore them!

I have an obsession with black and white stripes, and seeing as they're my token colours, I'd apply them to the pet.
A black Warp Stalker with white stripes and glowing red eyes would be my choice. Something like this, though better looking since this is just a quick edit. x)
I think
Deadwind Pass would work splendidly for his location. A dark, spooky sort of atmosphere. I'd have him spawn in that large Graveyard that's near Karazhan. It would be cool if he spawned at exactly Midnight realm time.
The hardest part is the name...since I use Morbid in my usual alias, I'd probably build off of that.
Morbidak perhaps...
(Morbid + Gezzarak?)...yes.
Okay, maybe I put too much thought into all this.

O_O! Do want.. WANT. /glares at blizz till they make it...glares..

A wine red gem cat with purple eyes, called Sirah <The Living Garnet>, lives in deepholm or alternatively in the powercrystal cave in Un'Goro, is either a cat or a spirit beast. No transparency, but may be in prowling mode in its natural habitat.
Major dmg, like GC can't be solo killed. Will spawn 2 mini-versions in the black skin (babies called Onyx Kitten) if aggroed for more than 10 seconds. Miniversions also tameable, just need a healer and a tank to hold aggro on big cat. After 20 sec Green versions (Perodite Kitten), after 30 sec yellow versions (Citrine Kitten), etc etc until all colors of gemcat have been exhausted. For the later kittens to be tamed would probably need multiple healers/offtank.
Yeah, I'd be happy with that.

Well for me it'd be less rare and more like 'a daily that can sometimes appear in Deepholm' in line with the bomb daily for Jadefang- kinda. Basically it's derived from some chatting I had with Saturo over what I'd do if I ever ran into a tamable golden Gyreworm and it was a worm worm, on Yasindra. I can only have one worm, and that's Sunscale. So she suggested that Sunscale could have died in battle- and I came up with the rest.
Basically sum up; war haggard veteran Yasindra lost her most faithful pet Sunscale, in an assault on the twilight in Deepholm. But his corpse was lost in the chaos and never found. You are sent out to recover whatever remains of him, body or spirit, and bring it back to Yasindra,
The quest mob would be a tamable, Ghostly gold worm that you'd have to summon by basically killing Twilight for 100% quest drop items. Basically Piece of Sunscale's chiton or armor or sunscale's scales, x10 of these you can summon;
Spirit of Sunscale
<The Tormented Guardian>
So hunters [BM] could have the option to tame the worm, or just kill for gold and return the [Weary lost soul] to Yasindra,

Hmm not an eazy choise.. either the unused ice cat skin
Should be located in Winterspring OR Dun Modr. It should not be an eigth our long rare spawn, but it should be a rare (3 hours

?). The name should be Bluemane.
OR
Sambas cat model, just in whit, with blue eyes. And i mean a white white, not an Eyecache grey white. I think the snowleopards in Dun Modr are the perfect white color. Should be located in Icecrown. Should be a rare, but again not eigth hours. Name; Frostbite (Frostbyte . the old english spelling)
OR
its difficult to make a pet in game with TÄrnfalks name cause its Danish, but it translate into Kestrel, a small hunting bird... It should be alittle bit bigger then the seagul model. Should not be a rare, but rather a flock of birds (5-10 birds), which flyes (in taming distance) all across the zone. If you kill them all there is a 15 min spawn time.
Colors : Brown, black, white and blue

Located in Darkshore (only " OMG CUT THOSE TREE DOWN THEY BLOCKING MY VIEW" kinda place i could think about.
Name: Kestrel

My first instinct here was to say I'd make a cat based off of my mental image of Rai, my first pet ever. Then I realized that it's not very different from her model now and that's boring. (Sides, Rai ish mine!!! XP) So I did a little thinking and I came up with two possibilities.
1. Phoenix Hatchling but big. I love the hatchling but the actual phoenix seems awkward to me. Anyways, they could put it in...well any place that has a volcano I suppose. Or lots of fire. So long as it doesn't end up in Vash somehow. No idea on the name though. Pyralis? -shrug- But gotta make sure everyone can get it. Dun want to force people to go BM just to get one, it's too pretty to hog.
2. A devilsaur named Valerie, the result of a experiment of someones gone wrong. Could be from Deathwing's meddling but eh, there are other crazies out there. Anyways, I imagine her as being a former hunter's pet, where her partner was killed and she was used as a test subject. So she'd be bigger then the average devilsaur and stay a tad big bigger when tamed. She'd be a dark red and her stripes would be silverish and glow while her underbelly and such would be a lighter color then her stripes. I would so run around with a devilsaur like that. She could be found in the Twilight Highlands or actually...having her wander around Blackrock mountain would be pretty cool. Not like in the mountain or one of the instances, but outside around it and she could spawn on either side of the mountain and just wander around the path for a bit. And if she's up for long enough she could pat through said mountain and go to the otherside lol. Why this one? Because I love devilsaurs and want more skins for them, and she's sorta based off of one of my old oc's and she would be a devilsaur if she was turned into a tameable mob. -shifty eyes- Heh.

Some form of black crab with like glowy red eyes of doom or some such. It would be a Old vanilla crab skin not one of the new ones.

A crow -- like the nelf epic flight form model, or better yet the new worgen one minus the armor. It would be named Corvidae and spawn perched in the trees in deadwind pass. Level 72 rare elite. 8)

Wow this would be a tough one for me. But surprisingly it'd have to be one of the "Storm Crow" models colored like a red-tailed hawk. I absolutely love red tailed hawks. I would want it to fly in the air around Westfall.

I'd perhaps make a spirit beast that looked similar to the netherwing drakes O_O
OR if I were looking at a common-ish pet... I'd put a black fur with red points on Loque's build and make it a common beast to tame, somewhere in an undead zone. I mean come on, all the other spirit beasts have common creatures that have their build.
Gondria-saber cats
Articus-bears
Skoll-Northend wolves
Karoma-smaller wolves
Ghostcrawler-crabs
Loque....? Nothing like him out there. While I like that, I wouldn't mind have a common version of his frame.

I would make a zombie fox. She would have blood dripping from her mouth, her eyes would be bright glowing yellow, she would have a similar diseased coat as the diseased wolves and she would roam to the east in Weastern Plaguelands where the fields are still crawling with undead. She would spawn northwest of The Menders Stead (the mountains would be cleared to make a grove of decaying plants and Rabid Foxes would wander around, the grove would me small-ish but there would be about 8 foxes wandering.
She would be named Rusco <The Den Mother> and she would sit in a cave at the back of the grove. She would be a lvl 38 ELITE rarespawn on a 18 hour spawn timer that resets after server shutdowns for mantinence or patch updates (so it would begin at 3am then) and she will be larger then the foxes outside the cave and Neutral (shes a kind hearted animal and no she is not undead and classified as a beast. She is just diseased.)
She would also have two Friendly (so they are unkillable) kits (babies) and they would be called Fox Kits and all 3 of them will be sleeping. The children will flank both sides of Rusco and if she is disturbed (attacked) the kits would run around startled and despawn after several seconds and will not return until after the mother spawns.
