On a semi-but-only-vaguely related note: there are quite a few rares missing in Stonetalon. I flew around and so far only found two rares. But, there *is* a vast area on the western side of untouched forest that has absolutely nothing in it except bunnies and deer.

Any bets for some chances of new mobs (and/or old rares) being added into here? The place is as glaring as Skettis to me. Heck, there's even an empty hut up there! Although you need to be able to fly to get to the hut (and possibly the empty woodland).

I hope OCJ lives through the patches and re-appears D:

Couple notes--I know Washte Pawne wasn't rare, and never said it was, but Kurasu was having a look earlier and couldn't find it so I figured I'd have a look while I was in the area.

Also, as far as I know, Horde also have no way to un-phase Uplands either

Lastly--When we say Barnabus may be the "brown" color, it isn't the brown of Deathmaw. There's actually two reds, one browner than the other. I'll see if I can grab an Ember Worg on PTR and go find him to compare, or just mount my red worg mount to check--the mount is the "browner" red, browner than the Ember Worgs anyway.

Edit--he's not up on Brill atm. Hopefully someone didn't swoop by and tame him >.< I'll check back later.

He's definitely red. My screenshot was taken at night, so his coloration looks off.

Yep. That's red. The darkness of the ruff threw me off when I saw it. I'd been planning to do the same (a side by side) but I couldn't find him earlier.

Same Ahh well, maybe it'll turn up later. It's only the SLIGHTEST shade differenece but I feel like we're aiming for a completionist set now--EVERY SKIN in-game & tameable

Grrrr. I swear I've been over Badlands a few times now, and not pinged a single rare. I can't figure it out! Surely no one's been around killing *every* Badlands rare on me...

When I went through, I found nothing at all--there must actually be a few people active. When I'm finding them, though, I'm leaving them there--haven't tamed any of the rares I've found yet (nor killed), so it isn't me, I swear

I can't really explain how relieved and happy I am about all these reappearances. ^^ Being a part of this community has truly made me appreciate the individual rare spawns, and how they all have their own personality. I've found myself getting attached to many of them specifically, and even for the ones that I don't, it was overall a very sad feeling to know they were gone. It made the world seem a bit more empty, their presences were missed.

Yeah, it's interesting, really--I'd NEVER tame Araga for myself, at least not with her old skin, yet I circle Hillsbrad hoping she'll turn up because I know there's a ton of people still looking for her!

Even when I thought Olm was the old skin still, the fact that he was gone was just a bit sad.

Yep, that's why I'm still looking too. OCJ and I never hit it off, but I've grown to care deeply about that lil' pup just because he's touched so many others. But I'm looking for the others too for similar reasons. Every pet is someone's baby after all!

Honestly, I have my Olm. Finding him won't mean suddenly I can catch him again. ... but as I said, he's a beloved sighting to me in Felwood, so having him gone has been sad.

OCJ, I'm the same way as Kalli: I'm hunting for him because so many others want assurance he'll be back. Araga and Broken Tooth (although he was already found) too!

Just saw Zaricotl perform his emote and then turn from neutral to aggressive. He spawned as a neutral mob and was flying around for probably 30-45 minutes before he turned aggressive. (Yeah we've kind of been sitting here watching him xD)



Also noticed two typos in there....'squawking' is spelled incorrectly, and 'it's' should be 'its'. x) I submitted a ticket, hehe.

EDIT: I let him kill me, to which he emoted "Zaricotl seems much calmer now that it has eaten the remains of Veph.", however he didn't go back to neutral and remained aggressive.

Three typos! Should be 'loudly,' not 'loud.'

Sadly he never goes back to neutral atleast not for long.

And also sadly spelling errors are plentiful in Cata- I found one where a goblin was all THRALL IS GOING TO SAVE OUR PEOPLE or something and she saidl; Save are people.

Greetings i've been on petopia quite some time now and i've registered myself today so I could ask a question. I'm wondering if Zaricotl is on live servers in his old model at this moment. I would like to tame him pre patch before everyone starts to camp him.

Unfortunately Zaricotl does not currently exist on the live servers, he was one of the MIA rares. You will not be able to tame him before his new skin is implemented, but I don't think he'll be terribly hard to track down.
