Tamed at 3:10am PTR time which was 5:10am central time on the PvE server.

I have been sitting at his spot for about 45min. It is now 7:30am on the PvE PTR (US) server... no spawn yet. I have even looked at his other old spawn point.

Yeah I am starting to think the spawn timer might be a bit longer than 4 hours. Maybe 6?

I am still there at 10:23am PTR PvE US time... unless he spawned someplace else or someone nabbed him while I was AFK... and my NPCScan/SilverDragon didn't go off... he is up to 7 hours now...

Think the Devs are adjusting his timer while you are camping him? To make Olm look that cool and have a low respawn rate would lesson his uniqueness and popularity a bit wouldn't it?

Olm is the ONLY rare I have NEVER seen in game in all the 5 years I've played, on ANY character. Felwood was always the one zone I would go quest in on my way through the levels as they led right into WinterSpring (my fav old world zone).

Now this really makes me want em.. My moo cow has Hellhoot for when he changes skins, but I'd like this ghostly bird on my night elf hunter.

Here's hoping my bad luck will clear up and my first time ever seeing him results in him joining my side.

This is basically true of all the old world rares, though. Respawn timers are dropping across the board and Olm appears to be no exception. Yes, he and the other rares will be killed more, but they'll also be tamed more (well, the ones who are tamable, anyway).

I tamed him earlier and excitedly started a thread not knowing this was here lol!

there's one thing i miss...and it's his cebnarion afflication...it was his unique pride....Blizz give it back now many hunters will just see him as a *normal* owl

There's nothing "normal" about him. He's very very see-through!

Think of it as him going undercover. He's still affiliated with CC, but is being less overt about it.

so i thought olm was just mad because im looking for him to see what he looked like if my alt woudl give up aootona for him so i camped 5 hours on ptr last night in the spot i saw in peoples pix no olm in frustration looging in and not seeing him i flew around and theres a lone yellow done a bit away from the other spot o.O so i attempted to show pix of where (near a tree ) and a map shot

Oooh! And he never flew up to the spot on the original map? I think that's a bit further out than I saw him go before, so it does look like a second spawn point. ^_^

Poor Olm has passed into the spirit world, but glad he found a way to come back to us.
