I guess I shall post mine as well, been seeing this thread for a few days now and thought about posting.

Kormai - 85 Belf
Since she is Horde all her pets (besides spirit beasts) are red/orange/pink. As my original character all her pets have funny/nerdy names.

Kåri - 85 Worgen
Since she is Alliance all her pets are blue/green/purple. And since I am a Star Wars nerd, all the names are female force users (except spirit beasts, they are male Jedi).

Kormai - 40 Belf (on Nesingwary)
As of yet she doesn't have any colour theme, just whatever I like. Her pet's names are the species name of the real life animal they most closely resemble.

Phoxi - 16 Goblin
She doesn't have many pets yet and doesn't have a colour scheme but I've been naming her pets after sounds they make...her crab is Clickclack.

I just love themes, I don't know what I would do without them, especially now with all the pet slots! <3 my hunters!

Most of my hunter's pets are named after characters in the game called Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy while some of my pets are named for different things.

Kingdom Hearts Pets: Riku (my favorite pet), Sora, Kairi, Namine, Roxas, Axel, Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, Auron, Xion, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, and Hayner.

Dog named Noah after one of the characters from a show called Generator Rex
My light blue scarab Jaime is named after the super hero the Blue Beetle
My alliance lion is named Anakín after Anakin Skywalker
I've got a green devilsaur named Link after the Legend of Zelda main character
My green shale spider is named Jasper after the stone
My Loque is named Lance after one of the main characters of a show called Symbionic Titan
I have a spotted nightsaber named Gwendolyn after one of the main characters from Ben 10
My orange striped nightsaber is named Cassius which is one of the middle names of Duncan Rosenblatt from Firebreather
I've got an orange fox named Renard after a character from a webcomic called Gunnerkrigg Court
And a brown bear named Ashton because the name sounded cool.

I'm also a Zelda fan and this completely reminded me, Varethyn's theme was initially going to be Zelda characters/monsters/enemies. Some of these were:
*Aotona: Cojiro
*Chromaggus (originally green outland chimaera): Gleeok
Grey bone spider: Skulltula
Green raptor: Lizarlfos
Blue/grey worm: Moldorm
Black/armoured black boar: BeastGanon
Black bear: Moosh
Grey turtle: Trinexx
*King Krush: Dinalfos (now Malladus - final boss in Spirit Tracks)
White moth: Mothula
Brown/tan bat: Keese
*Sunblade dragonhawk: Argaroc (now Aiolita, based off the blue stone Iolite)
Brown owl: Kaepora (Gaebora)
Then I decided Varethyn preferred unique pets and a lot of the Zelda-pets I was going to have simply weren't. The names with stars by them are ones he still has.
My worgen Swiftrunner currently has a black fox named Midna.

mine has a semi theme its the red eyed hunched cats I've grown to love i have 3 different skins at the moument spotted red eyed 3rd favorite 2nd being the orange tiger hunched my favorite being my ulduar cat Obsidian i got him only 5 days ago but ive grown very attached to the lil guy and I'm defiantly going to tame poyegan i don't know why but the hunched cats have found a soft spot in my heart

My stable theme pretty much consists of rare or hard to get tameable pets, with the exception of four out of the twenty I currently have.

I have: King Krush, all the Spirit Beasts, Sambas, Chromaggus, the black/purple Warp Stalker, Ol' Cliff Jumper, two of the boss silithids (their rare form versions, not from the actual instance, but still a bit annoying to find!), the white gorilla, the blue fox, one of the yellow worms, and I added Sambas to my list today! My exceptions are three other cats, one of which is the green/yellow skin, and I'm a huge fan of He-man so that's staying, and a white wind serpent for my survival spec since I haven't gone in to get a blue dragonhawk.

I've always wanted to do a Hunter with an undead pets theme or all white pets theme. Maybe one day!

*high-five* Sym-Bionic Titan is awesome.

My hunter Jadvya's stable is mostly pets from Outlands or Azuremyst/Bloodmyst Isle, (The only exceptions are Chromaggus, King Krush, Skoll, and Terrorpene, and they aren't going anywhere) and most of them are named after Gundam characters/mobile suits.

I was thinking to myself I totally don't have any themed hunters, but then I remembered Franzie the blue-haired goblin. She's only 14 right now, but I have big plans for her!

...oh yeah, the theme.

Well, her main pet is Adrian, who is a white fox (but will be Ashtail soon!). She also has Miles, Manfred, Phoenix, Matt, and Will. ...Okay so I don't think anyone's going to get it. She's ended up having a Phoenix Wright theme for her pets and I am having way too much fun with it.
