Been a slow day so far, hunted til about 4:30am.. woke up at 10:30, 4hrs of searching and zilch. Think I may have finally used up all that luck I had, heh. Nevertheless, still have names to scratch off my finalized list.. I'll keep you posted:

- Madexx
- Gondria
- King Krush
- Sambas
- Terrorpene
- Ghostcrawler

Edit: Pretty sure I just got my computer infected due to photobucket. Seriously..? Sigh.. this is gonna take up the rest of the night to remedy.

Important files backed up - check
Computer reformatted - check
Drivers, etc installed - check

Now for the fun part.. installing and updating WoW. Lets see how long this takes.

Edit: So I just figured out how to safely attach pics on here, and was about to start posting my tames.. when it hits me: I didn't move all my screenshots out of the WoW folder into My Documents like I normally do. I lost all of the pre-tame pics  I'll have to make some new ones once my rare hunt dies down. For now, Cata is at 59% and taking -forever- so I'm gonna try to sleep a bit.. hopefully get up early and find a new friend.

Back in game finally. Sad news..

So as I stated in my previous post, photobucket got my pc infected and I was forced to reformat around 5:30pm. After all necessary installs were finished, took me a couple hrs to install the first three editions of WoW. Then it was time for Cata.. and boy did that take forever. I slept from 11:30pm til 5:30am and fortunately it was on stage three of downloading so I was able to login and play while it finished.

I got a mail from my hunter friend thats aiding me in my Madexx hunt that she spawned in blue about an hour after I logged :(

Its just disheartening to know that I spent 7hrs straight searching, and then I miss out just because I wanted to post some screenies :(

No sign of any of my remaining six as of 6am, will keep you posted.

Photobucket? The only way you could manage to get infected there is if you clicked on one of the adverts. I could be wrong but it sound a bit bizarre to me.

And I wish you luck with Madexx! I've given up on the hunt for him myself, just a bit too random chance to get the green one for my taste. :P

Just saw Ghostcrawler on my paly who was parked in Abyssal Depths. Now I cant find him :( A druid in the area told me that he stealths in and out.. is this true?

Edit: Found him! (19, 85) Sneaky little crab. That was a scary little hunt to start my morning. Come on Madexx, give me another chance!

And its funny you mention that Erwil, because the infection was steadily spamming me with advertisement windows, popups, advertisement sound playing when no windows were open, then it changed my windows color/scheme layout.

Doing my usual route searches: hunter searches for Madexx, heads over to the Waygate (did the quest chain finally, heh) and ports to the Basin for a Krush search, heads back to Uldum for another Madexx look-around, log on my paly who's parked in Zul'Drak for a Gondria sighting, log on my priest whos keeping an eye out for the turtle of terror, swap back over to my hunter for another Madexx fly-by, hearth to SW so I can head over to TH for a quick Sambas check, port back to SW, port to Uldum, and conclude with yet another Madexx search before doing it all over again and again.

So round after round of no luck, I decided to get my daily seasonal dungeon out of the way while things were quiet on my three toons. Paly was first, then I swap to my priest and

**NPCSCAN ALARM**

I log onto my hunter as fast as I can, my HS is up thank goodness so I hearth to SW, port to Hyjal, and pray hes still there when I arrive. He is! A friendly fire turtle has a new home, and many friends to welcome him :)

2 down, 4 to go!

Edit: Sad news though... I am finally full in my stables. I have to release my first rare, Arashethis the white wind serpent of Feralas who I accidentally ran into many many yrs ago and kept him ever since for his awesome color scheme.. but since they made it no longer unique, I will bring him back to Feralas and release him to his home area.

Your story has inspired me to go after the lovely Squee spider (which, apart from Chromaggus and Karoma, are the only pets I need to complete my ideal stable), so I've been sitting here writing up some uni notes with WoW running mute in the background (with NPCScan up to the max! Haha)

This might be pretty unobservant of me but...I never noticed the things on the wall look like giant Gyreworms 0.0

...Well this is nourishing.

12.5hr camptime
24.5hr since last -known- sighting

Btw, a horde hunter landed right next to me about 3min after my tame. Eep! Cutting it close! :o

So I had no intention of searching for my final 3 tonight, being that I just spent 12hrs to get Madexx. So I logged and was about to hop in the shower before I went to get some food. But I said to myself.. eh, might as well atleast park him somewhere in case Sambas, Gondria, or Krush spawn. I went ahead and parked my hunter for Sambas (which I'll work on in the coming days) and logged on my paly who was my eyes for Gondria. I flew him from each of the 5pts til I was about to park him at the last one when..

***NPCSCAN ALARM***

There she is! Gondria! As stunning as everyone described her

Just got back from eating (finally), and I missed Sambas by 5min, lol. I cant complain on him just yet, but too funny I was so close to adding him to this great day! Had to let go Shadowclaw, Duststalker, and Zaricotl to make room for my finalized stable. 2 spots left for Krush and Sambas.

And I just ran into Loque'nahak while looking for Mr. Krushalot. No hunters were in Sholazar, so I did a /who 85 hunter and started whispering. First response they didn't know who it was, heh.. second person I whispered was more than happy to come tame him. He gave up on Loque at one point, but was glad to finally give him a home. Tried to tip me 500g but I said it wasn't necessary. Felt good to help out a fellow hunter - and Loque as my first to boot!

Set my alarm to wake up early this morning before work to see if I could find either of my final two tames: Krush / Sambas. My hunter is in Twilight Highlands of course, and my priest is watching out for the big green dinosaur in the less-traveled Basin. No sign of Sambas, so I log on my priest and do my route. Nada. I decide to go ahead and get my seasonal dungeon out of the way (this seems to be a recurring theme with me) and do one more round before swapping back to my hunter..

***NPCSCAN ALARM***

There he is! That is one big dinosaur! I swap to my hunter as quickly as I can, hearth to SW, port to Uldum, fly to the Waygate in Ungoro, and hope hes still there. Sure enough, hes making his way north near Nesingway's Camp. All is won, right..? Well this wasn't as easy as I thought.. I knew he feared, but didn't think it was on such a short CD. I also didn't know he was immune to traps.

So I lay a freezing trap down: immune. Uh oh... ok, no worries.. just tame him. Feared. Ok ok, hes puttin up a little fight. Focus. Feared again.. this time right into the butt of an angry rhino. Now I'm getting nervous cause I don't want to accidentally kill him. And on top of that I'm actually starting to lose the fight and my hp dropped to 75%. Easy Krush.. easy big fella..... got him!

My final hunt will be Sambas. This one has me a bit nervous, seems everyone wants him on my server compared to the other new pets. Wish me luck.
