Really, now. Do we need to fight over a video game? I'm sure if someone who doesn't play WoW came to these forums they'd be extremely creeped out too.
Saturo, I hope this doesn't come off as too harsh or anything, but, well, why do you even come to this thread if you dislike the game so much? It's fine you have an opinion on the game, but you've posted several times in this thread and a few others that you think it's disturbing, weird, creepy, ect. I understood you didn't like pokémon from the first post. There... really isn't a reason to repeatedly call a game names, especially in threads that are filled with people who enjoy the games.

I don't mean it like that, I mean it more like "You people are writing verbose posts about something I don't understand anything about".

Besides, the whole "kill the pokemon"-thing is just an attempt at fun, whch turned out to not be that fun.

No worries at all. It can just be rather difficult to pick sarcasm out of a post at times, so it can be easy to misinterpret someone. I'm certainly not saying "Get out and stay out!", not at all. It just came off to me that you disliked pokémon with a passion, so I was curious as to why you came to the thread.

No, no. I don't dislike I like that, it's just that you people scare me a bit when you recite your fights. It's... Verbose, in lack of a better word.

(A lot of my posts are sarcastic. If it seems offensive, it's most likely just sarcasm. :P)

So my accounts been down for over a week. I'm getting a card soon but I'm waiting until tomorrow to put it in because it'd just be a waste of a day if I did it today. Since I have nothing to do...I picked up my DS and started playing my Pokemon games again, mostly because of everyone on here, heh.

I booted up my Sapphire, played around a bit, then turned it off. Only thing I could think of was trying to breed an Absol with the moves I wanted. He's my favorite so..yeah. Then I turn on my Diamond. I haven't played that in a few months and I suddenly realize that I'm at 142 of 150 pokemon seen. I've managed to make that 143. Right now I'm hunting down four to get them added, but then I'm stuck. I need to trade certain pokemon to get the ones that evolve holding items. Not to mention I need that stupid..spirit..bomb..thing..I don't remember the name.

I'm so close..yet so far...

I've also read the TV Tropes on Pokemon...I'm never looking at this series the same again. Ever.

Well, there is breeding in pokémon. However, it just involves putting them in a daycare and then the daycare owners telling you that an egg (MAGICALLY) appeared. Hey, the game is intended for little kids, after all...

By the way that first comic is glorious. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

Also, a quick note here. I am looking for someone willing to trade a shiny Charizard. :3 I've been wanting one for a while now. <_< >_> I don't mind if it's a Charmander, but I would also prefer that I can name it. I'm willing to trade nearly any Legendary (That I have) for it as well.

i quit after playing after silver and gold....they got to many of these things now...i rememebr the original...red,blue,and then yellow...and they seem to get more cute and cuddly...soon..hello kitty will be a damn pokemon >.<

Oh great HO-OH, not ANOTHER person with the whole "They don't look like Pokemon anymore!" crap! Does DARKRAI look cute and cuddly to you?! No, he does NOT. And neither do a lot of other new Pokemon; I don't see how they keep getting more "cute and cuddly".

considering my core hound is cute and cuddly to me..then yes..darkrai does...

Heh, I still don't see just WHY cute and cuddly is something bad. Some Pokemon can be very adorable yet be freakin badass at the same time! Like pretty much every single Ghost Pokemon! <3
