Thanks Lupen! That link was very interesting. So many models to look through!

I didn't really spot anything we haven't already seen, I don't think, apart from the other chimaera colours. I was hoping there might be more toucan colours there at least!

There are a few Jormungar, but they could also be placeholders. In fact many older things there could be placeholders. It's hard to know.

I spotted one sandreaver, which had an unused skin (yellow, unmarked). Also a few old model elekks, cloefthooves and an Outland chimaera. Maybe they're all placeholders but hopefully some of them will be intended.

didn't see any new models but I did notice a few interesting faces in the line up. I'm sure lots of stuff in there is just a place holder but its still a good sign.

proto drakes: didn't expect to see any this expansion but I'm glad they are there. where there are protos, there are proto mounts. and I love proto mounts. :D there were three or four that I could find, some of them sporting different colors so maybe they are not placeholders.
new bats: anyone notice all the unarmored new model bats? looks like they all have new/unused colors.
ToT bosses: the "hydra" heads from throne of thunder are there. still just a head though so at the moment it doesn't look like you will be able to tame them. the blue turtle with the crystals on its back from ToT is there too. This one could be a pet.
Dread Raven: different sized dread ravens dot the landscape so there will probably be more than one kind of adult. (tame? tame please? tame?)
Hydra: anyone notice the Chimaeron model?
skyscreamers: I saw one or two different colored skyscreamers lurking around. I did not expect to see them there but if they are in outlands then maybe they will get some more attention and sneak into our stables.
Klaxxi: I noticed a mantid standing off in the back of one photo. could be a place holder but I really would like to see some more tidbits on that faction. they are my favorite faction.

There are plenty of those in Outland, and oh my gosh would I love to see a new model of those (I love the current ones but it'd still be super cool, and heck, there's nothing wrong with variety).

I would like to see..

New hydras, centipedes (as mentioned above. Those things are awesome), new spiders (tarantula-like), warp stalkers/lizards, nether rays, big shrimps/peacock mantis shrimps (SAVAGE SEA LIFE), and raptors.

And probably a lot more that I can't think about now.
Oooooh my gosh I didn't even think of raptors yES NEW RAPTOR MODEL OH MY GOSH THAT WOULD BE AWESOME O___O

I have a toon named Merida and her only wish is a new bear model, that doesn't look like it's in heat.

The WoWhead model viewer mostly works as it should. Animations look pretty good, and for a bow I linked before, reveal something I hadn't seen before. I liked the Dragonfly PvP bow when it had no animations, but it seems it does, and it cranks up the creep factor:

Please let it be tameable...!

(not sure why it says temp model. Either there'll be a newer/different model for it, or the model is not really tempt model, it's just that they forgot to update that "temp model" message. )

Either way.. want!

I'm not sure your inevitable Dragonfly pet will appreciate you using its ancestors for your bow. Tut tut.

I'm loving the wild model of dread raven. The crest they added to fluff it out a bit looks perfect. As a comparison, this is the mount model with armour removed. It has a bit of flat head:

If they are tameable, maybe we'll see the thundering isle birds added to the same family. They seem to share a lot of characteristics!

(it also has no talons, but I can't tell if they added that in the wild beast shot or not).

I am loving the dread ravens more and more. I would love to get my hands on one. Seeing how pets are all getting very important raiding buffs I am certain this guy would find all sorts of excuses to get out and see the world, unlike my dierhorn who was tamed then sadly put in a corner. Not to mention if you add a little bit of lightning to it or something of that nature it could make a great outlands spirit beast. I was always kind of disappointed that we never saw any spirit beasts added to outlands in the past. they have so much potential between all the ethereal, nether, stormy and, space related themes going on. Not to mention there are some cool species in outlands that look supernatural already.

As for the chimera, I'm starting to become bothered by just how incredibly long and skinny its torso is. it also has next to nothing in terms of a wing membrane. Wow has always kept the membrane small for mount purposes but these ones are really starting to bug me. I really want to like the new chimeras and I love their new animations but they all look like they were starved and had their wings clipped.
