I just noticed the vanity wings on the mmo page. I will make it a priory to get them or sure! xD

Not sure how I feel about seeing the world boss mounts on the BMAH. Its nice to know there will be other ways of obtaining it- but i would much rather they just buff the drop chance or something >.< between the problems they had with it at the start of the xpack, the slow drop chance, the weekly lockout and the fact that it will be old world content (not to mention they will probably be camped by soloers and raid groups for them may go extinct) I don't see what the harm would be in adding something non-gold sink related to help you get it.

I am used o making large sums of gold to buy tcg mounts but even I cant crank out enough gold to fund all the potential bidding wars I may get into this xpack. x.X

Agreed. Here's hoping the Garrosh wolf mount doesn't go BMAH and just stays a low low drop chance on Heroic like H 25m ICC Arthas mount.

Also this sexy strider has been found stuffed in Mr Pagles fishing bag for only 100 of Nat's Lucky Coins!

Leatherworking? Being a Leatherworker this excites me.. though I don't know if this is intended, how it's made or what.




Also the armored clefthoof and armored elekk are the "iron horde" ones in the mount journal. Wondering if they'll be a drop from a raid. The other clefthooves and elekk are in the mount journal atm as well, but no source and some seem to be using the wrong color (all four elekk are grey, for example)




OH! And Nok'karosh apparently drops a Garn nighthowl mount! (According to mount journal; not sure if that's implemented yet as the garn nighthowls one shot me at 96)

It looks like they finally toned down the spikes on the clefthoof, to allow it to be a mount. They were originally too long, numerous and deadly for a character to fit on it.

I hope those descs are eventually available in Armory data because we're otherwise gonna spend weeks transcribing them for WCM

Materials: 10 pieces of saddle leather, one angry brown wolf, bleach.

I found the recipe! Its sold by the LW vendor when you build the tannery. Costs five secrets of draenor Leatherworking to purchase. It's called Riding harness. To craft the mount itself you need 15 burnished leather, 10 sorcerous air.

This gives me an excuse to finally get up leather working on my hunter me thinks. Jewelcrafting hasn't been doing anything for me anyway...but I'm thinking it's going to be expensive to acquire the mats. Now. I like my mining. Do I want to get rid of mining so I can have skinning back again? Hmm. Or...I level another hunter. But...gosh I hate levelling. But...wolf! That means I'll be building a stable and a tannery. I like me some mounts

I like the sound of Garn nighthowl mount. Gimme! Although, I'm guessing it's the tlpd of WoD. Or not. They generally have flying mounts for that kinda stuff. Or perhaps you kill him and there's a chance he gives a mount? Either way, he'll be heavily camped I reckon.

Yeah. Obviously we don't have much info, the mount journal just has a Garn Nighthowl mount (the black Draenor wolf, with simple armor (no helm)) and it says it drops off of Nok'karosh; I've seen the wolf before in FFR wandering around with his pack.

Anyone know how to even get secrets of draenor leatherworking?

edit: Nok is spawned on Lost isles aka beta leveling one... but like I mentioned earlier he one shots. Like.. one million hits. :\

I really like the ram, a bit disappinted it's not IF-ish red-and-gold, though. But whatever, Wildhammers rock, too

LW mount - uhm... are you sure this wolf is not, ya know... stuffed?

I hope some of those rams show up as mobs without armor/saddle. And also that rams get added to the goat family. Even if not, it looks like a good reason to do arenas again.

This has left me rather curious. probably old news to most of us but:
A Darkmoon fair update on wowhead.

There is a new daily at the Darkmoon Faire to fly through rings: Firebird's Challenge. Every time you fly through a ring, your Wings of Flame buff is refreshed to 10 seconds maximum.

There is also a series of achievements:

Flying High
Ringmaster
Brood of Alysrazor

Completing Brood of Alysrazor rewards Blazing Wings. This is an account-wide toy which gives your character the appearance of fiery wings for an hour! Cataclysm raiders may note similarities to the Alysrazor.

Maybe the wing mount will come along as the next reward for getting 100 rings or something? Or just something you buy with tickets. I know its got to be related to DMF somehow but now I really want to know how! >.< I hope its not just some kind of mount buff given by the quest. Also i hope you cont have to compete with other players for the rings you have to fly through.

Right now it says 60-100% ground speed. hope its just a place holder- it would look rather silly using wings to hover above the ground at 100% speed

Not sure how I feel about the mount being guaranteed to anyone who does the lfr-raid though. It's not that I want it to be oh my god so rare. But having them at least uncommon would be nice. I just think it'd be odd to see hundreds of core hounds running around. But /shrug.

I guess seeing them everywhere though will be better than missing out on it completely.

That's true but quite a few people who want the mount wouldn't be able to get it if they didn't make it an lfr thing I don't mind really. A corehound mount would be nice and I'll be joining the queue for one for sure, but I don't think il be using it often.

I think we should focus on the real deal with this. It's a corehound. It's also a mount. It's a corehound MOUNT! Oh my Lordy lord it's amazing! You could also use the disgusting ozzling pet to make it a green corehound too

It's because it's a temporary raid. Now, everyone who wants it can get it. Imagine how shitty it would be if only people who were lucky during the event got it? I would seriously be very sad if I missed out on it forever just because I wasn't lucky enough for it to drop.

Still will be odd seeing core hounds everywhere though, that's all I'm saying. Since for one they'll be the only mount of their kind and you'd imagine that being fairly rare, but also they're just so big.

It's not that they're from lfr; they still could be an uncommonish drop, sort of like pets, that you can get in addition to gear/other loot. Or they could drop from the satchels (20% or so) when doing the raid, kind of like primal eggs, just more common.

But yeah, it would suck never getting the mount. It's hard enough not getting the headless horsemanship mount for seven years... And that at least comes back each year. That's why I said I guess seeing them everywhere will be better than missing out on it completely, if it will be removed after the anniversary. (And if they won't bring this back in the following years' anniversaries)
