Maybe I'm wrong but is a healer only supposed to heal the tank???? I mean WTF! On my main and did a dungeon raid. I get in there and see that I'm not the only person losing health. But I was the first person to die. I think of it as a fluke that maybe the healer didn't see me or something. Nope. She was ignoring everyone but the tank. I not only had to heal myself but run back three f-ing times to retrieve my body and keep fighting. This snatch pops up and says "You going to stay on viper all night Gio?" That was the last straw.
I said "are you stupid or blind? I'm guessing it's both since you're not healing anyone and clearly not smart enough to figure out what aspect I'm using."
She pipes back up and says "I don't care about the dps and I'm not going to heal them only the tank". Then she says "Would you rather I not heal the healer either". I said "Ok. Fine. You want to be snatch and act that way then I'll be sure not to help out whenever possible." Fully expecting at this point to be kicked it doesn't happen. So I just sat on auto shot and 'needed' everything that came up. I did this till the end of the dungeon. What was even more amazing is that the tank goes "Worst hunter ever". I said "Hey dipshit if I'm so bad why not kick me?????" No answer then he and his bitch left the group. At least the good part is that I ended up with quite a bit of great gear to sell.
As you can tell this whole situation had me just freaking angry. Again ................ isn't the healer supposed to heal everyone not just the tank?

I guess he missed the part about aoe damaging the whole party and, say, dps actually being
as necessary as the tank and healer if you want to kill stuff. *gasp* I know, right?

Healing mods or raid frames are hard!
That there is a lazy-ass healer, and the tank is no better if he agreed. My guess is that they saw your damage was low and figured it was on your end, rather than because you were dead. What idiots.
What instance was that, btw? Just curious. After all, some are KNOWN for being AoE damage instances....like I hope you never see them in HoR........

I have noticed this a lot lately. Well, back when I was still playing. I did I guess four, maybe five instances where the healers ONLY healed the tank, and any incidental healing done was because of talents. I was in an instance where a DEATH KNIGHT bandaged me more then the healer, a shaman, healed me. This drives me INSANE. I use NO mods, just the default UI, but I used to not only keep my group alive in twenty/fourty man raids, but assist on healing the main tank and a large number of the DPS due to a dumbass tank and other healers. If I, AS A PALADIN, can do that, or can keep the whole group alive in Heroic HoR or ToC five man, then these god forsaken MORONS can damn well keep people alive while playing as any other healer in every other instance.
/end rant

Indeed, Palla, indeed. >_<
I just mentioned the rest because I personally am not a fan of the default UI, so others might not be either.
It really just sounds like they target the tank and self-cast every now and then. HEALING DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!

That's perfectly understandable Kalli, ESPECIALLY for raids. It took me a while to get the swing of tagging names for healing during raids, but it really helps to be a target ahead of where you are now, if that's makes any sense. I also hate how default raid UI doesn't show pet's, drives me insane.

UGH, me too! >_< Still getting used to the tiny pet bars on my new frames (which are SO much cleaner and take up less space/memory), but no pet bars at all drives me batty.
And yeah, healing is pretty crazy in raids currently; buttloads of AoE damage. I couldn't imagine doing it effectively with the default UI, just due to the lack of visibility.

The Violet Hold. Where Lavanthor is.
The whole situation just really angered me. But after a good nights sleep I am just brushing it off as her being the absolute worst healer.
Sad part is they want to blame someone else for their mistakes. I also don't understand going into the instance as a pair then acting that way. Not a good way to represent your guild either.

ROFL! They should be ashamed letting anyone die in VH. NO ONE should die in there! PERIOD. Unless the tank was terribly undergeared or something, then the healer should have been hopping around in the back looking for dps to take damage so she had something to DO.
That's absolutely terrible. >_<

Absolutely terrible. I can see maybe having some minor problems on the voidwalker and on the Consortium fellow there, but on Lavanthor? Wow.....that's got to be the worst healer in history.....

So I just got in a spat with a huntard (seriously, he was) who was rolling on everything with "of the Fang" in the name because "he needed the spell power from the set for Arcane shot".
:|
If the group didn't need me as badly as they did, I would've went /facepalm at him and in chat and dropped group. I just can't stand retards like that.
My shaman needed the gear more than he did.
Boots and pants drop. At the moment, I have [Prospector's Boots] and [Bandit Pants of the Eagle]. Upgrade for me, but when I asked if I could roll (I'm insecure about rolling need on stuff. Being yelled at all the way through a dungeon for being 'omgzninjalootrz' kind of gets to you. :/), the hunter was all "OMGZNO I NEED THAT!"
I ask why, he would only have use for the little Agil the pants and boots actually had and he responds with linking his [Arcane Shot] and saying "spell power, nub! hunters need spell power!"
Uhm... No. No they don't.
They need strength in some cases but rare(ish), AP, mana on the side so they don't go oom in the middle of a long fight, and Agil.
And he responds with "wth is AP?"
UGH. I mentally slapped him and was hovering over the kick player option for him the whole run, but I resisted.
People like that make me want to punch kittens. ;-;

What but no, just, even if taking damage off lavanthor is a freak fluke, I mean I know it's usually piss easily avoidable, she was blaming you, for Lavanthor? I mean sure not always can you flee from the fire enough or the tank keeps him AWAY from you but seriously!
The VW and the god damn Ethral are worse than Lavanthor!

So lil Coal gets a FoS run finally.
First attempt at last boss. No one stops DPS. Coal dies. We wipe. Fail drood claims he didn;'t use rebirth on me, because he didn;'t have unburdened rebirth glyph NOR the regent.
Second attempt; I ask Aria to come since we lost a dps for one wipe. When none of them had stopped fucking dpsing on Mirror Soul. So tank claims, nah we can four man him. But Aria thankfully comes and we're good to go.
People stop DPSing mostly on the first mirror soul.
Only Aria and one stop dpsing for the second cast...
on the third AND when the boss is about to use the spinny shit phase, ONLY ARIA STOPS DPSING AFAIK. Coal almost died -three- times and when the dk died I didn't even bother to rebirth him until after the fucking mirror soul had faded and subsequently boss was down. Why do you ask? The moment that fucker died was the moment a serious shitstorm of damage STOPPED hitting Coal.
Fuck Forge of Souls, I aint going back in there until I have the full resto set.
Maybe then all the retards will be off doing durhurp shit elsewhere.
Edit: ontop of this the faildrood also wanted to roll for the staff mouldering corpse. HE HAD THE POLEARM FROM HEROIC HOR WHY WOULD HE WANT A DOWNGRADE!?

Mirror Soul is the bane of my Forge runs... I don't understand why it's so hard to stop attacking. Hell I manage to even call my pet back on that phase! Yet whenever I'm healing the place I gotta just spam heals on the target straight through. *sigh*

So I had a new one last night. I cued for a random and ended up in the Nexus with a group where everyone was in the same guild but me. I think they were using guild chat and would not respond to my party chat, so I just stopped trying. This group was really fast. We had a lvl 80 tank and every one else was maybe like 73, so we were literally running through. We wiped 1X cause the tank pulled a huge mob of treants and ancients. Other than that we flew threw in like 20 min. The kicker came at the end. I said thanks, but got no response of course and then tele'd out before leaving the group. When I came out of the loading screen there was the one and only party message waiting for me..."recue or leave huntard". That was it. I wasn't gonna go again anyway, but how rude....grrr.

Yup. This is even more fun when YOU get marked as the healer, and no one slow's down. Every time I have been to forge as a healer, they've wiped me out. I'll inevitiabally eat three criticals in a row, and all of my hitpoints will just vanish.

Today was horrible. So I got pugged into oculus with another hunter, pally, DK tank and shammy healer. We were getting our drakes. Healer got a green one, tank got a red one, I got a amber one, hunter got a red o- Wait a second, RED?! And so does the pally DPS. DPS!!! so then the healer freaks out saying ''im not moving from this spot untill they get amber'' And then the pally said ''i ot'' so then the tank goes funny saying ''we dont need a ot now go get amber'' and the hunter says nothing. He then jumps off the crater without his drake and dies. THEN he DCs. So then we can't re-queue because hes DCed, and we can't kick him cause we allready kicked the pally who refused to go amber. We ended up leaving oculus and Meow didn't ding 80. Meow the cat dinged 80 eventually in another heroic, but still.

Meh, Occ.
It's usually possible to complete the last boss with any drake combination, to be honest. I'm usually not too picky unless someone has a fit and demands I get a certain color, lol.
Easiest combo I've seen to win with, if done correctly, is all amber. Time stop timing can take the boss out most of the fight.
But anyway, I have a story to share...
Running BRD, ya? Ya. Took the fast way using the key I had, skipping about 5 bosses. Was hoping to make it to the end with this group. Not excellent, but noone's doing bad.
So we get to the bar. Before entering I say not to to touch ANYTHING or talk to ANYONE. We do the Thunderbrew quest, no problems. We get everyone to stand by Phalanx, no problem.
I say anyone who wants a Dark Iron Dwarf costume to follow, thinking I'd get a few of them to loot the mug by Plugger after talking to the dwarf making the beer.
Turns out, AFTER I gave a warning IN ALL CAPS (CAPS LOL OMG), AND after I warn her four times AS SHE'S DOING IT the priest loots the food/drinks on the table near the brewer.
This makes Plugger pissed. We kill Plugger. The entire bar is mad now. We couldn't continue because of all the adds, plus Phalanx was grouped with a patrol of nasty elites at the door.
It just was so frustrating, she totally ignored chat... had to call it after wiping a few times in there.

This.
We four-manned Oculus yesterday with two reds and two greens for amber void. No problem whatsoever. Given, our gear was ridiculously over the instance requirements....but still.
*pets Ry* I hate people who don't listen.
