Oh man. So a few days back I was farming tough meat in Twilight Highlands and fiddling with my UI. Logged out for a bit to disable stuff then logged in... NPC Scan goes NUTS. KAROMA. I click and watch her do her little tame spiral, and cheer! The hunter who got her happens to also be horde and is babbling excitedly about their new pet, makes me super happy :D I love seeing other hunters get their pets <3

I don't care too much for Karoma anyway so not a big deal right?

Le sigh. I log out in one of her farthest spawn spots... just in case. Remind myself that I am NOT camping any more rares.

So, sporadically, I log in and do a few laps, log out.

It paid off today. Right as I was considering giving up and posting here instead. :D

Thanks thread, for working your magic from a distance...! Anyone on Cenarion Circle, Karoma was tamed once at 3:30 PM server and once at 8:41 AM server! Tame shot/location/time proof! I was so nervous, I had my chimaera Pulse with me (*sniffles* now to retame...) and had to find tame beast, hahaha... was totally NOT expecting to ever see Karoma in the wild again...

Haha, grats! You know, at first I don't think that I'm real crazy about that spirit wolf look, but then I see it with other people and it looks really nice. But yeah, no more camping for me either. Did enough of that for one pet..... But still, I'm questing in Twilight Highlands right now, and I won't lie and say I don't do occasional laps here and there.

Haha, yeah, I know the feeling well Rhyela. Hopefully one day the wolf appears for you too. Just... you know, by chance... ;p

I was about to make a post asking where Skoll was, when guess who causes my NPCScanner to go off?

I've gotten lucky with spirit beasts, it seems. Arcturis was waiting for me as soon as I set foot in Grizzly Hills, I grabbed Gondria on a whim while flying over Zul'Drak (and waiting a bit to see if any hunter that wanted it more showed up, but the zone was empty), and Skoll didn't take too long at all. He's one of my favorite models in the game, and now he is mine!

No more, I'm done. BlueGreen not meant to be. That is all.

Okay, thread. We need a Sambas for Mearrra. No more cruel dwarf hunters, no more flagged trolls pulling Karoma on me. You can do this. I know you can. While I'd like Terrorpene or a mini-squee, we can get to that. For now, give us a lion.

Haha! My friend and I always brainstorm for ideas for names and we've come up with some good ones. He's been working the last few days so he said he would think up some names for me, so none as of yet. The computer that I have WoW on and the computer that I use for internet are seporate so my screenies are on the WoW computer sadly :/ He's absolutely gorgeous though, I spent the first 5 minutes having him stay in one spot and rotating my camera around him so that I could see him from all angles Already got one tell from a nice warlock in Stormwind saying how he hadn't seen anyone else with Sambas yet, makes me feel unique I promise to share a name when I get one for him!

Hello all! First-time poster, but have been a reader of these forums for a little while. Figured I'd try posting here for some luck as well! Please let me be able to eventually find and tame the following rares that I still very badly want: Loque, Skoll, Ghostcrawler, Karoma, and Maddex!

I actually tamed Jadefang earlier this evening purely by accident. Wasn't actively looking for her, but was doing the dailies in the Crumbling Depths with my boyfriend, he went up in the chamber where she appears, and I was right below when my npc-scan went off! My boyfriend said there was another player, another boomkin like him, up there with him, but my boyfriend went ahead and tagged Jadefang in order to hold her for me. I was freaking out, and tried using the bomb from the ground to get up there fast, but kept hitting the wall instead, so I went and took the path around to the ledge opposite the chamber, used the bomb, got in there, and made the tame! I was very happy and grateful to my boyfriend for helping me out, but I did feel a little guilty/bad that he had ended up ganking that other boomkin for it. Yet at the same time, my boyfriend did tag it first, and the other guy just didn't react fast enough lol.

So hopefully, after tonight's lucky tame, I'll be able to find those other rares I want...maybe?

Ok. I'd like a Terrorpene. I have no idea why but I do. Thank you for giving Mearra her Sambas.

I think I might like to give Karoma a try. It looks really nice with other people, so maybe it would do the same for me? I refuse to do more god-awful camping (a la Madexx), so a convenient spawn as I'm flying by would be swell. If not, I have Gondria, whom I love dearly. So, I'm not too obsessed with the ghost wolfy.

Up to you, thread. Though would it kill you to give me a break for once?

now I come hoping to tame Arcturis. after an all nighter (something this bear is well known for apparently), I have come to realize I need the luck this thread has twice given me. Hopefully I am not being greedy

This hillside has been lonely on Thrall-US tonight, save a hunter passing by here and there in the wee hours of the morning. These stags never sleep either it seems.

Give me Arcturis and I shall name him Aethe, or Aetheress... or something, I dont know. Im cooking up some silly story in my head with him, Loque and Skoll and now I need him to complete it.

Signing off in 15 minutes for sleep, but soon I will be hunting again for this elusive spectre... I fear I will not be the only one. I need you thread. You got the funk that I need.

I've been a long time lurker and I finally decided to post in the hope of a little of this thread's magic working for me!!!

I've been camping King Krush for what feels like forever now, in reality it's probably approaching the 36 hour mark of active patrols of his spawn points plus a quick check of each every time I happen past my PC.

For such a big lad he's surprisingly sneaky, I'm often the only person in the Basin and I've not seen hide nor scale of him not only since I started camping but indeed ever. I seem to be jinxed in this zone as I've not spotted a single one of the rares in the wild here.

Oh, Mighty Green Devilsaur, please come and join my stable. I've a bag of assorted meats just for you!!! It'd make this little dwarf very happy, and my poor little sparkle pony much less dizzy!!!!

man i love this thread, Arcturis is captured. so spent 9 hours (until 7:15 am) camping (cleaning apt), went to bed and got up around 2pm, camped until 7:25pm (more cleaning, watching smallville) when he spawned right on top of me, dead center of the npcoverlay square (Thrall-US).

funny thing is another hunter in guild was on his way to goof with me, he was flying from dalaran and was gonna land and bring his arcturis out and give me a false alarm (a friend) but on his way, the real mob spawned. my friend landed about 10 seconds after my tame was complete.

that poor stag is probably glad to see me go, ive been pestering it for hours (im the troll, friend is the tauren). funny thing is, right before i took this shot, another hunter swooped down to check. this is a hot spot, even in the wee hours of the morning as i was camping, i had hunters doing fly bys.

Karoma ("Trev") is now happily running at my Nelf's side. Now I need some Sambas luck for me and my sister's hunter too. Please come out of hiding, Sambas!
