It's shameless self promotion time again XD But um I just finished all the Ruby Sapphire Pokemon. So um hop on over to my thread if ya want to look.

Ohh, one of the shinies I was most happy to see/catch was "Bailey" a shiny pidey I encountered after receiving my pokeballs in my Nuzlock SoulSilver game. Nothing says good luck like starting out with a shinies blessing

I'd give half my soul for it. A quarter would go to shiny hydreigon and the other quarter would probably go to a shiny Typhlosion with Flash Fire. Or the quarter soul could go to shiny gamefreak raikou. I literally missed raikou by 2 days cause our main source for events didnt tell us till they stopped giving that legendary out.

Trust me, I feel you. I cant imagine the extent of what your area goes through in terms of lack of events, but I loathe with a passion all the japanese events. It hurts to see Nintendo babying japan so much when just as many pokemon fan's can be found around the world.

It seems more likely they'll have more events worldwide now, considering they *did* realise how many Pokemon fans there are everywhere, what with the X & Y release dates all being the same.

Speaking of event Pokemon though, GAME in the UK are apparently giving out Meloetta or something next month. o: I think that's the first event Pokemon I've seen here in the UK. How do you actually get the Pokemon? Do you just walk in and ask for a code or something? Or do you actually have to buy it?

Usually there is a little electronic box that gets set up, and all you have to do is go into the store, turn your DS on, go to "Mystery gift" > Recieve gift >Get via wireless/or get vie WFC, forget which. A message will appear when the game locates the pokemon, and vola! You have a new pokemon. No need to talk to anyone or ask permission, most of the time you don't even need to go into the store. I usually get mine from EB games (game stop) while sitting in the starbucks next door to it.

I went into the Game stop for my Keldeo, and got a poster. I can't wait for the Meloetta event to start. It's starts on march 14 for us US folks. I'm gonna try and go later though, PMD gates of infinity releases on the 20th for the 3DS.

Victini Movie.

I never heard a whisper of it here in Canada.

It rewarded a Victini with it's specific move, V-Create.

Original Victini from White/Black's release did not get that attack.

Also, I'm not sure where people in the UK will get theirs, but here in North America it will be at our electronic video game stores like EB Games and Game Stop. Your stores should have the same promotion when it goes live

Yeah I said that GAME, one of the more well-known video game stores here in the UK, should be doing the event. Gunna see if I can grab it even if I don't like the look of that Pokemon much.

We get jack all. Only one I've ever seen was tied to pre-ordering B&W on a certain day! and It was hardly advertised at all. :S So I missed out on a Victini.

Hey, at least the event Pokemon don't count towards the completion of the Pokedex. I would be so pissed off if they did.

In other news, still hunting for a shiny Vulpix. It's become easy now to just sit and talk with my friends or watch something while I do it, so I'm barely paying attention. Though I always have a good look at the screen when a Vulpix pops up because there's no way I'm letting myself accidentally run from a shiny. xD Send me good vibes! I'mma watch some Pokemon episodes today while doing it. Only on episode 13, derp. I never got a chance to watch them as a kid, they weren't shown much on TV back when I lived in Belgium! Wonder how long it'll take me to get to episode 762 or whatever it is now. xD

Oh yeah... I've kinda stopped playing WoW just so I can play Pokemon more. I mean I've played Pokemon since I was a kid and always loved it but these last few weeks have been obsessive. xD

True true. It also would be worse if I really liked one of them. I mean some are cool looking but I'm not going to cry if I never get one just that it would be neat to be like everyone else for once XD

I cant wait for another trio dog/lion event. I keep missing Entei and Raikou. I want Raikou especially ;-;

Uhm, i wasn't dissing countries that don't get the events.. I'm just saying i personally couldn't stand it if i couldn't get them. I'm not implying i wouldn't like to be in those countries, but it certainly wouldn't be for pokemon. I'd be actually enjoying the sights and culture rather then playing video games.
