Well unless there's something to confirm that I don't wanna pre-order X yet. I want Xerneas. I know sometimes you can get both in one game but... eh. Just in case.

It's dangerous for me to go on Trademe (it's like um a New zealand Ebay, so a auction site) as I ALWAYS go to the Pokemon card section and I always gte something. :S this one seller who is very very good and trustfull and stuff sells 110 Pokemon cards (10 rares) for $10! I always gte one XD I mean a booster pack goes for $7 here so it's a bargain.
Then I go onto Mightyape to check the status on my Starcraft:heart of the swarm CE and um see they have a sale for this Pokemon card box set thing. It's themed after that horse one um Keldeo and comes with 2 cards of it and 3 boosters and a little minifig of it. So I'm thinking I might get that too as I can add it to my order and not pay anymore for shipping!
It's like a drug it really is! Must have one of every Pokemon in card form!

YOU KILLED GARY'S RATICATE!
In the original Pokémon Red/Blue, when you encounter your rival in Lavender Town he asks whether or not you know what it’s like to have one of your Pokémon die. At this point in the game, he no longer has his Raticate that he used in previous battles. Your rival battle before this took place aboard the S.S. Anne. Your rival’s Raticate sustained serious injuries from the battle… but, because crowding and confusion on the luxury liner, he was unable to make it to a Pokémon Center in time and the Raticate passed away.
The real reason your rival is in Lavender Town to begin with is to lay his deceased friend to rest. Despite all of this, your rival never outwardly tells you that you’re responsible for the death of his Pokémon. He hides his grief and instead channels that energy into the motivation he needed to continue his quest to become Indigo League Champion.
The death of his Raticate effectively destroys your rival’s impish, childhood innocence. Although he tells himself that he doesn’t hold you responsible, he subconsciously holds a great deal of resentment towards you which further fuels his ambitions. Tearfully swearing upon his Raticate’s grave to not fail in what he set out to do, he trains hard in hopes of becoming better than you… defeating you… and to eventually make it to the Pokémon League.
Mere moments after he became Indigo League champion, he was defeated… by you. Although he fulfilled his promise to his fallen Pokémon, it was only for a painfully brief instant. In the end, your rival is scolded by his grandfather while you receive the professor’s praise.
During the course of the game, you steal your rival’s innocence, crush his dreams, and ultimately snatch away the love of his own grandfather. Oh, and by the way, your rival doesn’t have any parents.
He’s an orphan.

Finally gathered almost my entire team in Black! I'm constantly shocked at just how badass my Excadrill is; from a pokémon I thought I'd hate, Jane has become a favorite. Emboar was one I wasn't sure about too, but I've fallen in love with it.
Still not totally sure about my Turtouga. He's embarrassingly squishy, doesn't do much damage, and it seems like he's weak to everything. >.< But I want to keep him, because I like how he, my excadrill, and my emboar look together. xD

I used Turtouga on My White as HM fodder. She (though it was a guy in game, I like thinking of him as a She) was rather badass, and great for the flying Gym. I rather liked her, and kept her around all game. ^.^ just give yours a little bit, and wait until He evolves. He's really good evolved, if you teach him some good moves.

I recently got my 3DS and as such have no need for my DS anymore. I normally keep all of my Pokemon games but since I have Black 2 I saw no need to keep Black 1. I was going to sell the DS but I found a better use for it. I know a very special little five year old boy who is battling Lukemia right now. He's stronger than most of the people I know because he's winning. He's never played Pokemon so I'm passing down my DS along with Black and a few other games to keep him entertained during his hospital stays. He's a very resilient little boy and I will be glad to add another young fan to the world of Polemon.

I kept my DS when I got a 3DS cause, you know, GBA games.

And cause I might need it to trade myself stuff from one game to another.

Yup, turns out I spoke too soon. I he evolved and has been proving his worth! (Still not as tough as I'd expected from a turtle, but I'll survive.)

Got a purple 3ds as an early birthday gift. The store was out of the blue ones but the purple is nice. My white/black games look blurry and smooshed compared to my dsi, even with the 3d thing off. Guess I'll store it till the new games get here.
I have a small army of eevees now. No shiny yet but I've got more dw females at least. Still working on that shiny charm too.
I hope deino gets a nice dw ability in x/y. I dislike hustles loss of accuracy.

First:
Carracostas are fantastic when they evolve.
Second:
3DS can play GBAs, although not straight from the cartridge. See
here or
here I guess.
Rather, yeah you can, you just need to download them.

Do you also need to pay for the download? Is it like most over consoles where they go "oh yeah you can play the old games you just have to rebuy them again as downloads"?
If it's that I'll just keep my DS XD

Uhm, dunno on that part, I'll have to ask my Dad. I'm lucky, my dad picked up the 3DS a while back, but I have my own DSLite. So I can hijack his 3DS when Pokemon X and Y come out and not have to give up GBA games or something.

No worries mate. Knowing me I wont get rid of my DS if I get a 3DS.
