In case you haven't noticed...or you have...I have a sucky picture as my banner...the reason is...I have no photoshop. I'm suprised it came out this 'good' all considering but whatever. The picture speaks for itself, me - my two hunter pets [the black wolf and dino] with my two favorite mini pets. The scene I want is in front of a building in Gilneas with the five pets I picked out, the mini pets can be excluded. I wanted my black wolf to remain [my namesake], but I wanted the pets to be coming out from either side of me.

The New Cataclysm dark blue fox , the red crock, the black spiky crab and mastiff are the ones I wanted added...these may be difficult because I wanted these guys for the expansion. I don't think the crab, or crock would be hard but the mastiff and fox might be. The wolf I wanted turned 3/4 away from me to my right so you could see him howl, while the crab and crock would be running on my left and on my right the fox and mastiff could be sitting.

I don't want it to be difficult so if you wanted to wait for the expansion to do it or wait that would be cool because I know you might be busy.

It's pretty unlikely that upcoming models and skins may be used before Cataclysm is finally here AND a model viewer working with WoW 4.0 is available.

But maybe Saturo is cleverer than me and can help you out.

You can download the beta client without any problems, and there is a prototype modelviewer for it.

How do you do that comic style look?

I put a modelviewer picture, or some other kind of reference on one screen, and then draw on another screen. It looks better with a pad, but I don't have one right now, so it's made by mouse. Faces I open in MWS, extract, and then simply put as a layer above the other ones. I smooth it out with the smoothing tool. It's sort of cheating, but if I draw without refernces it just looks plain bad.

So you are actually redrawing them?

Well, if you're lazy there's filters that makes pictures look drawn. Sort of.

Well, I had an idea of making a comic and this style would have been perfect.
But I'm to lazy for that, thinking about the number of pictures I'd need.

Ever since, I had it in my mind as a comic, dunno why. So I thought, if I ever find the time and the right look, I might give it a try, although I would go for a more epic story and would probably go for a new character too.

If you want to cheat, I realized something when I saw the "Edit your screenies" thread. You could make a new layer over the screenie, draw an outline, and then color it in. You'd be a bit limited, but I think it might work.

I wouldn't use screenshots.

To much trouble to get the right people in the right equipment in the right spot and keep the wrong people out of sight.

Model Viewer would be easier, I guess, and you wouldn't be limited to level-equip.

I'll try some looks later and if they seem somehow useable, I'll let you know.

I really like it! If you want something like my sig, you could do just the outlines, and then add a single colour for each area. I don't see why you would want that tough, yours looks excellent!
